Those that knocked these doco's when they were first launched should have a rethink ... they are well done, are getting clicks which translate into memberships and sales, and provide fans with rare inner sanctum viewing the likes of which we haven't seen since 'Whiteboard Wednesday' with Cameron !!!

Max, get down from there...

I hate heights, gives me a cold sweat just watching that as I take a glimpse through my fingers covering my eyes.

Melbourne - We don't have to touch the nurry as much. There's our 2020 slogan right there.

We have all worked with a bloke like that!!

I agree i hate a chockers desktop

Put them away and use the search engine!!?

If his desktop is any indication thank  God he doesn't organise the interchanges.

By God I’m pumped for Sunday fortnight.

After watching the Eagles yesterday I’m confident we’re in with a very real chance of doing them over here in Perf.

That was a great insight into the club. The boys look united, hungry and most of all happy.
Some pretty good ingredients right there.

Must confess I've never heard the term "nurry" before.  Where does it come from?

Confirms yet again that the coaches watch a different game to us.

Fantastic finale to a great series. Kudos MFC.

Good Finish to an interesting journey.
Jack was seriously peeved off after the vote, but after last year we needed a clean sheet.
the biggest lesson to learn from last year i think, is that when Dave Misson announced he was leaving, he should have packed up his things, have a few beers and a meal with the club and leave.
Sticking around for a full season after giving notice is never on.
His mind was elsewhere, we were so not fit. Continually over run late in games

We should go alright this year, but 17 other clubs will have watched these 5 parts as well

How Tough are Demons?

I know it's all in jest (I hope), but only Melbourne supporters could find a bugbear about a computer screen. Do you think Tigers or Hawk supporters talk that way?

jest it was.  And I expect supporters of any team would make the same weak jokes

Looks a bit like our forward line setup!

A very good series that I really enjoyed.

the showed the amount of work that goes into supporting the players and building the team. It reminded me that there is so much more to a footy club than what we see at a game or on the training track.

a good insight into the club and well done.

Really enjoyable 5 episodes. Great insight

Think goody handled the captain change really well and great how he addressed it front of the whole group would go a long way to helping Vin save a bit of face.

Super pumped for the year ahead. They've done the hard work time to reap the rewards (fingers/toes everything x-ed)

Good stuff.

The focus in the meetings on the enjoyment the players got from being -60 in possessions in a low-scoring practice match is good to see IMO.

Do you mean the camera angles (with the behind the goals camera from the North game)?

The game must get pretty tiresome if you live in it with that amount of detail as shown with so many coaches and reviews and meetings and rules about where you should be once the ball is turned over at point A, etc.

As much as I love it I think that would ruin it for me.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

  • PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: “Then came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.” Today, we’re back in the same place although one difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, …”  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.
