Today’s crowd number  will be the perfect example of why we play games in Darwin

Or why we will end up playing at Marvel.

Or why we should not play in Darwin, recruit better, coach our talent better and win games on our home dung hill. That’s how you build a winning organisation. Not by flogging off parcels of your land.

Your plan is admirable but has failed for fifty years. I doubt I will hang my hat on it. Whereas Darwin works.

Fighting 6 goal loss kicking 7 goals 20 points... Hogan to collect 25 and kick 4...

Probably a more likely result tbh.

I would agree Bbo. However this year is not new to us. Most seasons are over by the end of May.

I’m tossing up whether I should watch it on the tele or head to Bunnings, buy a snag and wander around their store aimlessly for the 3 hours.

Never been less excited about a game, but a big win would be welcomed of course.

Interested to see how our forward line goes with Jade back at the helm.  Actually , the entire team and style should be a lot different with the coaching reshuffle during the week.

Ahh [censored] it,   Melbourne by 37.

Respect to anyone who is going today. [censored] that

I'll be there. Top of the ponsford. With the same feeling I have had for 90% of the time i have supported the dees. Wanting to watch us win a game of footy. A game that stands by itself, disconnected from concepts such as ladder position and finals.

I want to see us win.

Im afraid it would take 3 or 4 wins in a row for me to get interested again , been let down far too many times.

Im going to the game of course, but not feeling exited.

Really looking forward to a hot pie.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
