We are getting demolished and our captains are embarrassing. Stand up and do something!

Jones will start playing for free kicks.

You watch it.

Finlayson is giving Oscar a bath

LOL

4 Melbourne players near Davis I think....guess who marks it? Pathetic skills.

Can Tom MacDonald please concentrate less on neoconservatism and more on football?

Brayshaw VFL please, not chasing and tackling.. non negotiables

Hard to fathom why Fritsch is playing and why he's playing down back???????

Oh dear.

We are trash.

So many vfl calibre players. We need a half decent key forward.

GWS are smashing us.

... And they're getting the bounces.

Sigh...

[censored] this. What a joke. Can we just call this season off?!

What a bunch of soft lazy footballers these guys are.

No idea what has happened to this team but it is not even a shadow of its former self.

Oliver has given away three free kicks - very undisciplined today.

Oliver needs a smashing from the coach. Absolute garbage behavior today.

I haven't seen them all but

A) at least 2 of them were things that happen to him all the time and he doesn't get the free and also

B) there is a fine line between trying to reimpose via physical presence and undisciplined behavior. Melbourne are often criticized for being soft so at least he is trying, even if poorly.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
