Can’t bear to see the pies win tonight.

I hate the filth.

What about that last pies goal. Slow mo def shows it hitting the post!? (oh but they review all goals dont they) guess theyll subtract it first thing Monday morning......

Umpire literally blocked Lachie Neale from the ball coming to him and directly cost them a goal. Absolutely horrible and unjust. Surely something has to be done?!

Charlie Cameron.... 1 player from any club I think would make us a really tough side to beat. Aaannnddd then gives away a 50

Why do fwds try and mark on the goal line instead of shepherding the ball?!

Brisbane play a great brand of football to watch.

Pies gifted 3 goals so far....

gee the umpiring has been interesting.  That beams in the back wasn't there, the ump gets in the way and I thought they did review each goal so how did no one pick it up. Brisbane players are being held and they get zilch.

Good to hear the brisbane crowd up and about again

But collingwood do look good when they go forward

Simple answer= They DONT review every goal. It clearly touched the post.

Umpiring has resulted in at least 3 goals to the Pies so far and missed a clear interference on a Brissy forward earlier for the shot directly in front.  Went down the other end for another Pie goal for a potential 12 point turnaround.

The ducking in the goal square decision up there with the worst for the year.  Brissy were within 5 points at that point from memory.

Pies got umpired all the way to the GF last year and it looks like AFLHQ want a repeat.

FMD maggots are giving this to Colonwood

Is it just me or has footy been a real tough watch this year? So many whistles, horrible defensive zoning, slow play, poor skills.

Just a real hard watch.

Is it just me who thinks Zorko is a fantastic footballer? 30 years of age but I'd have him at Melbourne.

Not just you C13. I think its being way over umpired.

It’s been the worst quality footy in my lifetime. Not a single quality or memorable game. The new rules and over-officiating by the umpires has destroyed the game.

I rewatched the Bulldogs-Essendon 2000 game this morning and the quality of footy and commentary in that game just leaves the modern game for dead.

The AFL needs to go back to that.

F$#k Leigh Matthews is tough to listen to. First he says "that's efficiency with a capital "I". Then says the game flows better with more free kicks... STFU & retire you dumbass

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
