I probably shouldn’t reveal that but signs aren’t good for Josh Wagner, Corey Maynard & Billy Stretch.

Guys, I can let you know that Tom Sparrow will debut tomorrow as Jorda Lewis won’t play.

Good luck Tom

Reasin being?

Must say i am a bit perplexed with this decision.. Sparrow in my opinion has looked out of his depth during the JLT games.

With injuries and suspension in the backline that’s a big out of correct.

For all of his aging legs he is still the best general we have down back.

Unfortunately I think Lewis is cooked, so I’m happy with this.  Hibbo and Nev are experienced enough to direct the back line

Is that why he’s a late withdrawal?

being cooked?

Evidence?  Source?  Trolling?  ???

gwdees is solid.

From the kids Jordon looked more likely from jlt.

Sparrow had 4 touches in the half he played. Maybe he played better for casey?

If the reason is something like 'hamstring soreness' it might just be the toll of the heat and humidity and his lack of speed will be exacerbated in those conditions?  Just guessing.

I just hope Sparrow has a reasonable game then gets a good go at it.  I still have nightmares of the Petty selection last year.

If this is true and I have yet to see any evidence of such then it is a ridiculous decision. Sparrow looked like he was no where near ready. I would bring kielty in.

Yes he was.   Look forward to seeing him debut tomorrow.

I would rather Lewis tho - he was good all preseason

Huge stretch mate.. he had about 4 touches for 2 qtrs and had the fumbles. Way out of his depth that game.

Like replacing Godzilla with Bambi, but he deserves a crack, bring it on.

Must have ANB as his mentor.

I'm not sure he deserves a crack, but he will have a crack, that's for sure

Fair enough. Who else could they have bought in?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy he's in. No-one else has been banging the door down, but neither was he (from what we've seen).

Stretch must be hanging on by a thread.

Very unlikely to see Stretch on the G again. Great heart, great trainer, not so great on the skills & footy brain required to compete and win at the next level unfortunately. Wish him all the best.
