I hate how everyone on here says how it proves we should've got rid of watts. Half of demonland were going to start up a petition to keep watts at the time he was about to get traded. it was embarrassing. It was even more embarrassing that he wasnt traded or delisted 5 years earlier. that's the real embarrassment

No, never been to Oktoberfest before.

Elwood is very pleasant these days, especially since the beach is so handy to home and best from this time of day till sunset.

Yes The Wood is a mighty good place to live. I to am a stones throw from the Ice Cream ? van, when at home.

I was last at Oktoberfest in 1993, and even then it was a totally crazy mad few days.

I feel sorry for JW that one of his “mates” has filmed him snorting a completely legal substance, that has been snorted over there for years...

If it’s not an illegal substance, and the lady in question is consenting, then it’s a storm in a D-cup.

Port supporters may be pleased to see ‘that he’s getting his head over it’.

Just watched it on the news two things:

- he clearly posed for the video and even asked if the guy filming was ready

- he looked like a complete amateur clown doing it

Seriously what an idiot, after the last indiscretions on Instagram, you’d think he’d pull his head in, but no he’s just a bloody big head who doesn’t seem to give a stuff about getting a 2nd chance in the AFL.

If l was in charge of Port I’d [censored] him off. Best thing Goodwin has done was to get rid of him

Not really. Too old. You would think after what emerged about his recent behaviour that he would not put himself in the position to have an image like this come out. He’s a moron.

A moron he might be. not really too old, that statement of yours, sounds like u wish u were young again, and able to even get  within 2 feet from young perky breasts

Peppermint powder?

Ffs, can't even commit to being a bad boy with the required intensity.

It might not be such a good image for the AFL but Jack is on his break and has not done anything illegal. However l cannot see what is bothering the one's that are criticising him.

Go for it JW you let your hair down and enjoyed yourself and l wish l was there.

I applaud Simon Goodwin for getting rid of the cancer out of this football club.

Yet another loud, premature and totally judgemental call.

There’s having ‘fun’ and having cancer. I know which I’d prefer.

Really?

I bet he’s done it to extract the urine following on from the texting episode.

It’s hilarious.

Still, I’m glad he’s at PA now.

The video is from October 2017.

Who gives a stuff about what footy players do in their spare time. How ever there is one point to make. Since when did people start snorting something LEGAL off a womens breast.

Since Adam and Eve. It's called mother's milk. Snort, suck, guzzle, every baby goes through the process. Keeps them alive, I believe...?

Ok. If he posed it all, then he is on his own...

but he still has done nothing wrong

That video is completely harmless.

The faux outrage brigade are insufferable!

Although the substance maybe harmless, surely after being in the system 10 years he would be smart enough not to partake in such a video.

Port Adelaide have said today that it was from "last October''.

Watts has informed the club that the video was taken at Oktoberfest in Munich last October and the substance featured is “Wiesn Pulver”, a legal substance made up of menthol, sugar and glucose.

My mistake, thought i read it was from 2017.

Good enough for me now.

I was happy that the article went with 'Port Adelaide player' and not ex-Melbourne...

For me, playing with consenting breasts is one of life's great joys, for everyone one involved, and has very little to do with his ability as a footballer.

And as has been said by others, obviously taking the urine.

I sometimes feel we are headed for a world of sad, wannabe puritans who can't discern between consent, fun, and actually offensive behaviour, it is Oktoberfest, not a bloody kindergarten. By the way it isn't mutually exclusive to enjoy drinking champagne off a consenting nipple (for instance) and being an ardent feminist.

Blowing off steam and getting drunk are risky behaviours (as are other drugs), things do go wrong, and the worst possible result is death, but the likelihood of that is still low enough (as proved by all os us on here surviving our teenage years) to be acceptable and tremendously sad for those that don't. But living in a world where all risk is redacted and sanitized, no thanks, we will just be killing ourselves more slowly as a spinless species of semi bright apes.

Given his off season to date I’d be trying fade into the background, but to willingly allow someone to film this regardless of the substance is staggering. He doesn’t GAF and while I’m not of the idea that players need to be a role model, all you expect of your players is to give their best crack and clearly Jack has never done this and never will.

It's a horrible look, particularly given the rumors and his history.  Jack must have been hammered, high or stupid to let someone video him doing this.

I guess this is what some get for paying over the top for an 'education' at theses exclusive private schools.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
