It's so easy to look at a single photo like this and take it out of context. Unless we know what his right hand was doing, I'm sitting on the fence and making no judgment.

No judgment required La Dee. Just two blokes having some fun.

that sounds like the very essence of a 'judgement', ernie

I don't care what anyone says, what anyone thinks, we live in modern times. This looks like true love to me. I can see wedding bells. Peter Bell will be Best man. Long live True Love, it's a dying breed, if you ask me.

Call me what you want but I find that photo to be utterly gross.

Bet you didn't say that when Jacko did it and that was incestuous.

Don't know anything about that.

Sandgropers are a strange lot.

Not alcohol related but similar - I was first on scene to a pretty bad traffic accident a few years and was trying to pull the driver out of the car as it was smoking. A lady in an SUV pulled up next to me and I thought I was going to get some help but when I turned around she’d given her phone to her daughter, who was no older than 8, and she begun filming.

It was about that time I gave up on humanity.

Heard a similar tale about a year ago at a bad bus accident which caught fire.
Older generation running around trying to help the injured while the "Me Generation" filmed with their phones.

Haha. This from a man pretending to be a woman.

You're a very attractive man.

Well, you did give permission...

Nice euphemism.

Other euphemisms in play:

"Ballwinner"

"Stakeholder"

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Going home or coming out?

The bloke in the check shirt seems a bit stunned.

Looks tongue in cheek to me. So to speak.

Biff.   Whose tongue in whose cheek?

R14 May vs. Hogan at the 'G'.

The second time the Dockers play at the "G" for the season and the last time they at that venue for the season.

As much as I don't hold anything like the same sort of grudge agains Hoges as I do against that little [censored] $cully, I really do hope we smash Freo this game and send a strong message to Hoges for the sake of any others that might want to jump ship.  I'd prefer no uncalled for boooing (though I'm sure there will be some), but just for the MFC to turn up and put on a display of force that Jesse will remember and make him think about what he has walked away from over on the East Coast.

...and at the end of the game when Steve May shakes Jesse's hand, he won't just be saying thanks for the game, he will be saying thanks for this opportunity.

Not a bad looking oval, had a look at their site and it’s available for hire. Going cheap too, $50 P/Hour without floodlighting and $100 P/Hour with.

Be careful - you will get a good dose of Cockburn.

It would be a bit of a marketing fail to open a brothel in the area wouldn't it.  ...or conversely is that how the area got it's name originally.

Along similar lines, there is the locally based business 'Cockburn Cement' - an early version of viagra for when you've had a big night on the nest, but just need to keep powering on! ...perhaps?

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
