Leaving tomorrow morning. Probably won't be back for a while so ..... Statute of limitations.

Damn. Well I was looking forward to catching up with some fellow Dees, hopefully next time. I’ll be over for the first final (wherever it is).

Should have won by 5-6 goals

maxy tweaked his calf with about  4 minutes to go and should get 2 weeks to rest it .

God I love Vanders toughness! Some of his tackles and challenges where critical, blokes are always looking for where he is lurking.  Thoughts on the elbow? I’m assuming a fine? Or 12 months out of the game?

To Saberfang and the other clowns who spent the entire week bagging the playing group, about time you all had some faith, it won't happen this year but we are heading in the right direction.

Massive effort today by all and showed mental toughness when they fought to get the lead back

For all the flak our forward system gets its the first time the eagles have conceded 90 points since round 1.

Hah. I jumped through the roof when Melksham put us back in front (geez WC would be spewing how easily he got off the chain) and nearly burst in to tears when Kent put it through. That was the biggest stress relief feeling I’ve had in many years. I love this club.

That last 8 minutes was nail biting.... i was just glad to be on the other side of a close win in a big match against a rated club.  The last i can recall in that situation was QB last year.  Super relieved

Must admit when they got a point up that was it for me couldn’t watch check scores 10 minutes later and we are 3 goals up, nearly fell of my chair that’s a sort of win that can release the mental shackles

I have legit been crying since that Kent goal. My daughter and missus think I'm an idiot. They clearly dont understand what this [censored] club has done to us supporters for over a decade

It might sound silly but I thought West Coast hitting the front as ‘early’ as they did was helpful. It refocused and galvanised us. So incredibly proud of all of the players. A fantastic effort over there.

Shout out to the recruiting staff. What did we give up for Hibberd & Melksham? Where were Tom McDonald,  Hannan, Harmes, Jetta and Fritsch drafted?

What a day. Let’s all get to the G next week and bring back a home final.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
