It's also no one's fault but ours that we sold the Adelaide home game to Alice Springs.

By home ground advantage I mean playing an interstate team in Victoria or Geelong playing at Kardinia Park two Victorian teams at the G or Etihad is 50 50  . Tassie games for north or Hawthorn are often WA teams which is a huge advantage. NT games 50 50 if we play SA or WA teams.

Bolton seems a very nice chap.  Not sure about his man management side but could do with an old head for assistance / support IMO.

Had lunch with 3 Carlton tragics today and they have all conceded as well.  Some said he should go, others thought he needed the above help.  Paul Roos was mentioned on a number of occasions.  Doubt he will go back into the fire again though.

They all said that the Demon phoenix has given them some sort of hope, given we were in a similar trough a few years back.

They also asked if i thought we would win the premiership.  I said i have only ever taken it one week at a time supporting the MFC and was just hoping we can make finals at this point but also we have struggled against the rated / better teams in most cases but hopefully learning from those losses.

Lose and we could be equal on points with Cats (bye), Port, Hawks and North. Win and we stay ahead of them.

Is it possible that Carlton's plan is to be the hardest team to play against in the league?? If so, that plan is going real well so far. Just as long as they don't surpass our record as the best team in the league for guarding space.

They drove the players to Metricon Stadium and told them they were all going to be traded there if they didn’t win this years flag.

It is going to tell the story as to whether we are the real deal or imposters.  I am hoping that our expectations have not got ahead of us. 

The way we lost to Collingwood is a real worry.  We need to have a huge improvement from that game to beat Port. They have some of their best players back in form.

After Port, the Cats are going to be a real test. Despite their loss they have a big upside with probably at least 6 players returning from injury that will make a major difference to their line-up. 

Getting nervous and worried? You betcha. 

We not only need the points but we need to regain the confidence that only winning can instill.

It will be a real test of our ability, game plan, and, most importantly, our character.

What annoyed me with the Pies lost was any team with half a backbone would've refused to let them beat us after what happened last year and it was evident in the first minute we didn't come to play, I blame poor leadership, no better time to fight back than after a rest in a must win game.

We don't have Geelong until we've played St Kilda, Fremantle and the Dogs first.

Correct, just thinking about the challenge of getting over the Cats. Wait, Nigel from Brunswick has just reminded me that there is also "the Fremantles" who seem to be coming into form.

6 days only you reckon? i reckon it would have been 2 weeks with the amount of friday nights they recieved.
