Jeffy for ANB any day.

How did Jeffy play in the VFL?

HOGAN BOG so far, has some competition but he's playing with a desire that is beautiful to watch. We were lucky the Saints shoot like the Somali militia. Pat TomMc the million, while the game was in the balance at the start he did some 1% things that demonstrated will.

The inverese of everyone else, great goal kicking accuracy, cannot hit a target in the field...and moves like treacle.

Looks like he is running in wet cement.

His disposal is dumb. It’s not even bad. It’s just dumb. He makes awful decisions. It’s like his brain malfunctions every time he touches the footy.

Now we need to break them in the 3rd and go on with it in the 4th!

let's hope the 2nd quarter was the infamous shite quarter.

I still struggle with the Tyson hate.

Had two shanks. Pinged holding the ball im the back half (Hunt and Hannan should have been pinged in the first quarter for the same) and the second shank in giving it off to Jones when he was still when both were going to get done.

Other than that he’s been really handy with his hands and some nice targets hit across the ground. At least he tries to hit a target rather than bombing it long to no one all the time

We are using the corridor a lot more which is good to see. Getting a lot of repeat entries into fwd 50 but still very wasteful, because it’s tge Saints we’re getting away with it.

Good first half.

Hannan presents a lot, probably has more than any other forward, but we either kick too short or too long. He was getting frustrated towards the end there. Although a few times caught flat footed.

I wouldn’t mind a few more quarters like that

Game in many respects is fairly close. It is StKildas shocking kicking keeping them out of it for the momment. I don't like the indiscriminate handballs we do sometimes but we have played much better than last week.

You're right, it may be rudimentary, I always look at total scoring shots to get a sense of closeness... they're only 3 off.

Cant disagree there. Nibbler has been awful.

I’ve been very critical on Harmes lately playing an inside role.

He has been ok this game as well. Getting the pill on the spread and some of his effective long kicks (most important stat in the game imo) have been really nice to watch

Came into this thread and am scratching my head at the Tyson whipping going on. Few misfires with disposal, but no more than any of our other players and he’s been one of our better players again today. Some people here clearly watch the game with blinkers on!

You need your eyes checked.  Harmes has been terrific.

Missed the first quarter so can only comment on the second. We were lucky they didn’t put scoreboard pressure on us early in that term, we let them get a lot of look ins at goal but they got no reward for effort. Hopefully that will be what breaks them.

Once their pressure dropped we were clearly on top and were it not for some players losing their head, and others bombing indiscriminately we could’ve nailed another one or two.

We have the chance to kill the game next quarter, I feel we are the better team and just need to polish off a couple of final points. Tyson doesn’t seem to have any awareness, but that was a huge goal he kicked. Great to see TMac take a full forwards mark from a high ball, was the one he took on the goal line over or not? Tim Watson seemed pretty confident for a bloke that didn’t have any replays to actually show the line.

C’mon Dees, keep pushing forward. Job half done.

Harmes has been decent, ANB not so much. Loving Jones’ game again today. He’s been good his year.

Cmon Dees go on with it and build percentage!

I'm a Tyson fan LT, but there was a 10 minute patch of footy where the worst he has to offer was in display.  He was caught a few times and made poor decisions with the ball in hand.

His second half of that term was much, much better and when he's doing good things he is clearly a valuable member of our side.  He just doesn't so it consistently enough.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
