Real players play in Black boots. Ask Phil Carman!

As a door closes, a window opens.

You are one of many in the game's history who can deservedly claim that hard work, dedication and patience pays off.  Although your pathway into AFL has been unconventional, you now stand on equal footing with every other player.

Good luck Bayley

will help somewhat cover the absence of TMAC as a forward, he plays taller than he is due to his leap.

Throw Petracca in their for a good chuck of time and let Jesse do what Jesse does, we may have a chance against the puddy tats still.

There's something special about this fella. My eyes already light up when I see the ball in his hands.

FRITTA !! Well done Pineapple!!

Just quietly, I wouldn't mind fabulous Phil pulling on the boots for us this weekend......and they wouldn't be black either.

Don't you like his red boots?

Is it inappropriate to nickname him Josef after Jo Fritzl.

It's too late now my brothers and I can't stop.

But they match the socks and you can't tell where boot ends and sock begins.

I have a three stooges tie and several mates used to say we don't know where the tie ends and your body starts LOL

Good Im looking forward to seeing him play.

But I am already over the media saying we drafted him with the draft pick we used to trade watts. I just hope every time Bailey does something watts's name doesn't get mentioned as well. Just let Jack play at his new club and let Bailey play.

GO Dees

Looks like the interchange against the Catty Puds will be:

Angus Brayshaw, Dom Tyson, Sam Frost, Jake Melksham

This, I like.

This, I like.

Expect Hannan to play over Frost.

He reminds me a lot of Brad Green in his first year.

Wish him well, he deserves this and hope he tears them up.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
