As a demon tragic I wish both sides the best tomorrow enjoy all the hype and bask in the glory.... however tonight as I see Tigers fans hanging in hope for the ultimate glory I'm feeling upset deep down. Really tired of no finals like the rest of you, just dying for the dees to become talk of the town for the right reasons. Seeing this finals series makes myself upset and angry about our failure to be more hungry to make finals and have a sustainable period of success and hopefully the ultimate prize.

i hope the club makes the necessary changes to help push us harder and faster toward being top club, the oppositions fear playing.

I hate this club.

I watched afl360 for the first time since r23 last night, I’ve watched the finals a little but not really taking much note, more it’s been on.

This club has killed my love.

Ditto. Sick of feral tiger fans carrying on while we cant even lay more than 6 tackles in a quarter the opposition kicks 6 goals with finals on the line.

Im still so [censored] salty

Weak club, getting everything they deserve, doubt if those in charge and those that represented the membership on the field would care less, should be made to go to the grand final and watch, but nah, go to Bali and get rotten as a chop, a poor group of people, badly led with little gumption for a battle.

Don't forget that last year the Tigers finished below us.

It will turn. We have so many talented youngsters with the will to win. Our time is coming.

Yeah... Been hearing that my whole life. I've seen two failed GF's where we are never going to win and a lot of super poor years. I do not believe in we will get better cos we have talented youngsters. Been burnt by that numerous times.

Keep being negative if you like. I can feel it on its way. I understand everyone's negativity but I'll be so happy to com on here after we've done it.

I think this has been said the last 10 yrs Dom. The only diff is inserting a diff team in.

I thought after the pathetic display in rd 23 things couldn't get much worse and now we have to deal with the trading bs.

The fun never stops and I am just so over it and on top of it we never make the finals.

I am strugggling big time.

The problem i have given not only my money with memberships also my life, my son said to me why do you keep following this team, they make you P$^# and you don't seem to enjoy it? I said because i have given so much it's like i can't turn away now.

I think if in the next five years with this group of players, i hope we can at least win one flag, just to know how it feels.

But like most on here i will go online to check the scores but it burns like years before.

Round 23 and vs North both had me genuinely questioning my support and commitment to the club. I'd never been more angry and disillusioned.

Ditto ditto ditto. it is galling that we whipped Adelaide in 98 and this year but they look like slipping right past us (again) to pinch another flag. We continue to improve ladder position but there is the nagging feeling that we are mark 2 version of the MFC that was supposed to be bound for glory when Scully played for us. Getting beaten by North and Collingwood shows how badly we flatlined.

Still angry. The first time i have felt this way for so long.

We really were cheated this year..

it is good supporters are angry at what happened.

For years this club was just forgiven too easily

I like the sting in your tongue, it's Barassi esque!!!

I'd rather be pizzed off that we are there abouts than resigned to getting done by 10 goals+ every round.  Being close hurts more because expectations are raised, but I've got to admit the Neeld years definitely caused me to question my ongoing interest in AFL. Never again.

we totally choked and threw away a strong opportunity

This time tomorrow night after seeing the winning side receive there medals and cup I'll be shattered. Another failed season without success. I guess I'll just keep drinking and hoping that one day the pain will be over

Well that does suck u can't get away from it unfortunately.

Mate all u can do if they win is be happy for her as I'm sure she would if the roles were reversed (although hard to c that happening at this stage) and have a quiet min to urself out of her sight.

Good luck.

I'll put on a brave face.... it's going to be tough one. Us Dees fans deserve a medal, we are resilient group even if we bag our club

    TRAINING: Wednesday 19th February 2025

Demonlander The Analyser was the sole Trackwatcher out at Casey Fields today to bring you the following observations from this mornings preseason training session. Training  was at Casey today. It consisted of a match simulation for one half  and then a free choice activity time. Activities included kicking for goal,  aerial , contest work etc. I noticed the following players not in match simulation Jack Viney  running laps and looks fine for round one . I think Kolt looks like he’s im

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
