You could well be right RTG

i forgot about the disgraceful MRP decisions last week

I was right...just. Good result for us but, no question, the non suspension of Wines and the ludicrous suspension of Redpath (following Davis' dive) tipped the balance.

what did he do? Try a torp that didn't work?

Had a mark about 10 metres out from his own goal. Missed an easy 15 metre pass straight to dangerfield.

Port result good for us. GWS are playing arrogant footy up till quarter time. Hopefully they can improve a lot and win well. Wet Coke winning would be dreadful.

2/2 for results going our way so far! Brilliant!

You're up next GWS, beat these soft ducking Eagles into dust!

Then we need Essendon to blow another gimme win.

And finally, we need to not seriously [censored] everything up tomorrow like we did 3 weeks ago!:o

Lucky we have bye week this year, as Geel vs GWS would be another dead rubber where one team can rest one week and concede a home final and go full strength the following week while another goes full strength for both matches and burns themselves out.

Also go Saints for round 23. The game that could gift us an away strip white shorts final against Richmond, if we win our games.

GWS just kicking to packs in their forward line, need to lower their eyes.

[censored] hell, the Eagles must be the most boring team in the comp. Their entire gameplan consists of:

Kick from tall to tall around the boundary line until you fluke a mark in front of goal. All the while the midfield runs around aimlessly, uninvolved, diving for free kicks at every opportunity because they refuse to tackle or play contested ball. The only reason they manage so many wins is the umpiring advantage at Subiaco; they're scared to death of contested ball.

They are absolutely one of Macca's "teams who will get found out very quickly in finals."

Ok so a West Coke win here will do what to us? I don't have a ladder predictor on my phone...

GWS got out to 20 points in front then got real pretty with their play. They should at least be about 30 points in front but for their arrogance. I think I will start on the VBs now.

Can you believe that this time next week we could actually be celebrating the fact we are going to play finals. Sorry don't want to get carried away but it is an exciting thought.

Just heard Treloar on the radio saying how they look forward to next week and they will set themselves to go out on a win. Also either Howe or Dunn said last week they want to win r23 against there old teammates and maybe wreck our final chances. Said with a smile of course and a laugh.

Well as put in other posts I hope  a miracle occurs tonight and the suns win.  But the scum will be even more fired up because they know they can make the 8.

Imagine the media going on about how good a story it is from what they have been through. I can just imagine it now. Uggh!

GWS arrogant as ever, they won't be in the Grand final, will probably blow a prelim against a team they expect to smash.

Yeah I'm excited about the possibility same as everyone, but Brisbane looking to scrape a few wins at the end of season to build confidence into 2017, I'm not taking tomorrows game lightly.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
