I really like Weeds. That last bit was okay but he needs to learn to take advantage.  He marked and Saints players ran off him. He could have ran into goal. He's contested well.

He will get it...

We have no one forward of the ball to kick it to.

This is madness.

still mad?

Fantastic start.  Pressure is there harmes started beautifully including taking a wonderful mark.

Times we are still over handballing but we need to keep this pressure up.

Fantastic 1st Quarter. Go Dees ❤️?

I'm loving this.

Super quarter of footy, couldn't have asked for a much better response.

Keeping my excitement levels as low as possible though as there is still plenty of footy left to be played.  We must keep up this intensity and continue to put scoreboard pressure on.

Absolutely loving it at the minute!

Saints don't know how to play the G

Hard when you  never play there....

We traditionally take the foot off the pedal in these situations.

Cmon dees. Be relentless!

Might be a big call but is ANB becoming our hard running mid we needed?

Captain Jones back to his best.

Weid not the answer though.

Jones is getting plenty of it. We are playing in our home strip not the away one Jonesy.

Great Q keep it going boys!

He's an elite pressure player who forces players to fumble just by the way he defends space.

Tyson reminding me of how good he is. Clean clearances and good use of the footy

ANB has been the player of 2017 for us.

He has stepped up. Still learning, but he does learn!!

set play kick out. we never do that.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
