Anyone know a good barber. Perhaps a number 2 buzz cut

Salem.

Free haircuts for life!

The MFC could lose big if Big Ben cuts the locks, imagine the sales of Wigs around the ground and the Demon shop could be a real money spinner.

I don’t want to get all biblical here, but is there a risk that his power will be lost if he loses his hair?

Might turn into Omac?

On the topic, Brown will announce his choice to join The Demons sometime in next 24hrs. A massive win for the club and the third main target landed in 3 years. This is significant and most have no idea just how much this helps drive the new game plan

Cannot wait to see big #50 leading hard in 2021!!!

Sounds good mate.

Just curious, what's your intel on this 'new game plan'?

Cheers.

I'm struggling to think of anything less important than how Ben Brown chooses to wear his hair.

His long run up perhaps

seems to really offend a lot of posters for some never explained reason.

North supporters on Bigfooty demanding our future first rounder or current and future second rounder for Brown.

Well they’re dreaming. Future 2nd most likely unless we get a 25-30 pick for Pruess or Hannan deals

Good luck with that

Doesn’t pressure?

I think you’ll find these video rewarding fellow demonlanders (especially throwing Oscar around in 2018 ?)

Nudge who are  the previous 2 main targets Preuss and Mitch Brown????

If its true hes getting a 5 year deal at 550k per year thats a bargain despite the contract length.

Turns out to be roughly the same contract he was after at North 4 years @ 750k a year = 3 mil. MFC 5 years 550k a year = 2.75 mil, 50k per season less from the impact of covid.

Looks like the strength of the extra 2 years on lower cash has got Big Ben over the line, very shrewd business by the Dees.

May/Langdon.

Worth noting that Jarrad Waite played the best footy of his career when he was the second tall in the forwardline with Brown (despite being in his mid 30's at that point). It cannot be overstated how much this will help Weideman.

That's probably what he's worth if North didn't play this so badly. They are getting shafted big time. A Coleman medalist in his prime for a second rounder is daylight robbery. Couldn't be happier!

His mobility/agility is better than I remembered. Some of those snaps where he gathered the loose ground balls were impressive.

Just received word Brown’s better than a 50/90 chance of coming.

50/90 is not good odds IMO

Care  to elaborate Ad.

50/90 is a little optimistic in my opinion. I’ve heard it’s closer to 55%.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
