At least with so many injuries if we are lose it won't be because of where I am sitting in the lounge room or what Melbourne gear I'm wearing.

What does everyone else change if we are losing? If we are winning none of the family are allowed to move

Just pulled into Nort Melbourne station....lot of red and white on this train...

as uncle bitters is still out of the country i'm confident we have this one in the bag

if we win we should take up a collection to keep him over there till after the gf

Go deees. Will be proud if we give our best win, loss or draw. Going to be a tough game, but anything is possible this season.

I don't think it's appropriate for me to rock back and forth in the fetal position whilst sucking my thumb and mumbling something about Neeld or Prentagast whilst at work.

Again...

If we win tonight, that's good enough evidence for me. I'm in.

Would have thought they'd be used to it by now....

I tell my wife (very politely) to go to the study room as my mood can be not so nice. My gear stays the same!

I'm still not gonna take the risk.

In tetms of not changing anything-Titus picked us to lose again so we should be ok? Even if he wasnt specific about it this week-has tipped against melbourne 5 weeks in a row, must be killing him...

the magic spot is firmly on the floor in the wedge of the L lounge.

Got my seat on the forward flank in the members. My Dad died nearly two years ago- I miss him tonight. A big game- we didn't get to do that together much since 2006. (Yep we were at the western oval that day in 1987, and the finals that followed.)

This is the first year since then that I have felt such a build. GO DEES.

My dad is in his 80's now and was in hospital this week. The cold is getting him....

Just threw on SEN and all Buckley and Connolly are talking about is Collingwood, wtf?

Connolly is an idiot

On Jack Watts, apparently he tweaked it again and will be out for another 2 weeks.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
