Let's be honest. Sydney have been horrible here and Collingwood are only 15 points up.

Gee, Bruce is an ordinary commentator these days. Shouldn't have come out of retirement.

The commentary has been deplorable....they have been told to talk the pies up at any opportunity, either that or they really are dumb.

Collingwood were hitting targets in the first Q and Ling was orgasmic, the only problem was the Swans pressure was non existent.

It was like they were doing a match simulation, allowing Collingwood to practice their short field kicking.

As soon as the Swans started to put a bit of pressure on in the 2nd Q the Pies kicking started to look ordinary again.

Come on Swans put it together, bring up the pressure and you win this one.

Ah.. there you have it

Collingwood, Essendon and of course Hawthorn = Ratings

Don't particularly like the Swans (they have had their success) but there is some inner happiness when Collingwood implodes....

first decent thing treloar has done tonight right there - and yep, it looked magnificent. he does something useful with the ball i reckon 1 in 3 times, and he actually managed to join 3 together in that passage of play.

Strange observation/question from just before the game started.  One of the trainers rubbed something on both of Buddy's arms and his arms were shiny afterwards.  Looked like they were covered in baby oil or something.  Can anyone clarify for me what it was?

It could be one of a number of lubricants. Back in my clubbing days I use to apply coconut oil onto my arms.

Alir reads the play well and lays a decent tackle.

Would think that if Harmes/Bugg or Melksham don't come on this year, we could try and trade one of them for Zak Jones and convince him to nominate Melbourne. I think he's coming out of contract, and has a lot of potential as a 22 year old.

Collingwood have taken handball lessons from Luke Beveridge -- how many times do they get away with blatant throws.

And outrageous free to Collingwood for  below the knees when it was actually kicking in danger.

Sydney don't look like it, but if they're to be a top 4 team this year, it's the sort of game you'd expect them to eventually run over the top of a Collingwood-type.

I'm running out of fingers counting the amount of times one of the commentators (mainly Bruce) has misjudged a goal. He's a painful commentator nowadays.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
