Getting suspended was bad enough -- I would have thought he would have been required to attend all club activities and not been given a holiday.

In this case though I see nothing to change. Firstly I was talking more about Lewis and the utility of his action on the day and not about Hogan or Vince. 

Interestingly listening to Lewis being interviewed by Gerard and Dwayne he mentioned the outside perception before he came to the Demons were perceived as a bit soft and this may have played into his decision to smack Cripps. It's funny how different people hear different things from the same message. I like Lewis, he doesn't put on some act to appease. He knows what success is and while he's repentent for what he's done, he's not contrite if that makes sense. 

Secondly, if we were talking about the outcome as the determination of whther I should change my opinion (and I mentioned that this shouldn't be seen as a correlation) then missing Hogan is as irrelevant as the non selection of Pedersen for first gamer Smith. Which maybe indicative of Goodwin's priorities for the year in terms of development first and if we play finals then great. 

Speaking of changing opinions I note that Freo made 6 changes to their team and won which goes against the grain slightly in terms of both the trend and their form. I'm  glad Ross pulled the trigger when he did though, at least as suporters we shouldn't be mentally jumped by a better than expected Fremantle.

Ok, not having seen the match yet as I have been O/S can you tell me what % you would put on us winning the match with Hogan and out of interest what % with Pedo?

So Paddy Ryder gets  2 weeks down to 1 whereas our guys get 3 down to 2!

Crow's doctors must have given a 'no symptoms' type of report - classed as 'low' impact.

The hate I felt for Carlton last week has just gone up a few more notches!

The MRP put our blokes out for longer suspensions, purely and simply on the back of an obviously scathing, Blues' Doctor's report.

I thought Ryder's hit from behind and behind play was disgusting.

I defy any reasonable explanation that this gutless, dangerous act, was worth only 1 week, because luckily he didn't hurt Knight more.

In relation to the Hogan incident, it was an open hand, while his opponent was not only facing him, but pushing him backwards. The Doctor says Rowe was really sick as a result, yet the bloke plays in a wet, hard game the next week. What if the Doctor's report was wrong, it was never tested?

The MRP like so much under the control of the AFL is a joke.

PS. Don't pay holding the ball against me, as I only held it through 5 tackles and for 4 minutes.

Interesting Dino I had the same treatment PRP into a quad insertion tendon injury and it fixed me up so well I was able to get back to sport in a mater of a month aftre being out for 4 months. PRP will start to be used more frequently in speeding up the injury healing process, particularly in blood poor areas such as tendons!

Obviously more with Hogan than Pedo, I reckon we were a very good chance with Hogan because our forward structure would have been maintained and he kicks goals at Etihad.  But when you watch the game as I know you will you'll make up your own mind.  I'm surprised you couldn't find a sports bar!

Its off topic but some treatments are ahead of the curve unsupported by evidence base (randomized controlled trials and peer review) is that a problem - maybe because players get experimented on.

Has gawn got hamstring tendonopathy? Surgery only one path in our experience

How can you possibly argue that Hogan's absence had a significant impact on the result, unless it's to suggest it allowed us so many shots on goal. We know how we played without him, which by many forward measures was really well (29 scoring shots to 3/4 time). We have no way of knowing how we would have played with him - though a pretty solid argument could be made for less front-half tackles/pressure acts and more long bombs into the f50.

Yeh, and we should leave Hogan out when he's available and keep playing Tim Smith.
