I'm  barracking like a Dees match!!

Swarming all over them now ... playing like winners

Dragged off the contest in the goal square - no free.  OMG the umpires are on the Hawks' payroll

Atmosphere is incredible at the game. Can't wait until this is us one day soon.

Just so, so, so wonderful to see the slow Hawks being run down and tackled by the young dogs. A symbolic passing of the torch tonight, methinks. Dawks are finished.

Woof woof

Enjoy the slippery slide with Nth Melb. Era over. Old blokes fully cooked now.

They said on Fox it's basically a bunch of Hawthorn supporters surrounded by a mix of Doggies and neutrals who are all rooting for the Dogs. Love it!

Come on Hawks! Demonland too united for my liking.

how sweet will this be? dorks on top of the ladder, out in straight sets. fingers crossed.....go dogs

Hopefully 30 minutes away from the end of the mindnumbingly boring Hawks era.. come on Dogs keep going

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
