The top ten trade and free agency stories for the next month or so are predicted in this article from Fox Sports and noticeably Melbourne is not included in the speculation. Possibly, someone forgot about Michael Hibberd but that could be because everyone seems to think that he's virtually a done deal. That deal will cost us a second round pick which leaves us with little currency given that pick 1 was traded to Gold Coast last year. And of course, nobody's talking about Jesse Hogan and Nat Fyfe -

It makes me wonder just how much change there will be to our list. If our only decent draft pick goes for Hibberd I don't see much value in picks in the 40's 50's etc. Unless we are bloody lucky.

Sorry DH but I just couldn't take that article seriously:  No author.  Website has no 'Contact Us' info (that I could find).  It all looks dodgy to me. 

The Hogan/Fyfe stuff is just rubbish:  'FOMO' - dead giveaway that it is rubbish.

I'm 38 and also didn't have a clue, I don't hashtag anything, lol, or take selfies. I do have FB for footy stuff and family/friends that live interstate, having said that my 3 best mates don't have FB accounts.

My daughter is interstate, we FaceTime a lot. For me that's the biggest improvement in technology, that and Black Ops on-line team death match.

Kind of makes sense if Fyfe wants out.  Only heavyweight trades need apply.

Why would a WA boy want to leave WA, would this mean if it happens that Hogan plays for 10 years at home in WA and Fyfe decides after 2 or 3 he wants to go back home to WA? that's a big win for us

Don't know what wanderlust gets into the heads of particular footballers but my wife and her 2 sisters left WA at the first opportunity.

I am also not a fan, been there a few times, also know Jesse prefers Melbourne lifestyle over Perth, whether that would change with a massive offer of money who knows? As for Fyfe, was it manager talk in the first interview? Fremantle will bounce back quickly, Fyfe was allowed by Lyon to do a lot of coaching when Freo were playing, couldn't see him letting a guy who was leaving do that

It's improved out of sight over the last 10 -15 years. Perth itself did have a bad rep for being so boring and rightly so but that's changing.

The south-west of the state is awesome over the holiday period and significantly cooler as well.

Im a Victorian but get a bit [censored] off by people who don't live here laying the boots into WA. It's the biggest State in the country but layfolk just seem to base what it has on offer from an impression of Perth.

I don't mind it for a holiday or a trip, been to Broome, Margaret River, home of Nev, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie (now that was a week)......and the exciting Port Hedland......yes it is the same for Canberra spent quite a while there, most people think it is a couple of monuments, Parliament House, it is much more than that.......from what I can gather Jesse Hogan does prefer Melbourne over Perth, could just be grass is greener, I don't think anybody at the moment knows whether he will go or stay...even him
