N.Jones - frustrated and frustrating

Vince -looked embarrassingly old

Hogan - played without heart

Salem - we've missed him

Watts - an inconspicuous finale

Petracca - regularly butchered disposals

Viney - tried but failed

Brayshaw - little to enthuse

Gawn - overwhelmed by numbers

Tyson - season's worst game

Stretch - played amateur football

Frost - had no idea

T.McDonald - good 3 quarters

Weidemann - looked totally lost

O.McDonald - continued impressive development 

Hunt - exciting but loose

Bugg - not required standard

Garlett - disappointing and embarrassing 

vandenBerg - tried but lacking

Jetta - slow and loose

Harmes - disposal from hell

M.Jones - devoid of relevance

Salem, Vanders, 2x McDonald and maybe Hunt were passable today. The rest were pitiful.

I know TMac had a few kicked on him but the ball was coming in with such ease and I think he battled manfully and created a bit of drive in the other direction.

Seriously?? Brayshaw was Melbourne's highest-ranked player today, and had his best game for the club (especially under the circumstances). Stretch was decent and fulfilled his role, especially in the second half. He generally manages to get the ball to another Melbourne player, which puts him ahead of most of his teammates.

Not sure why people are claiming Frost played well?  

12 disposals, just 52 SC points and he definitely butchered it a few times, like most of the team.  He tries to take it on, but the guy is jumpy and has no composure.

Buzzy have you ever played down back in a hundred point flogging? It is not much fun and anybody and everybody can be made to look very ordinary.

More of a mid myself.  But that is true - and he did look ordinary, like most of the team.

Thought Tom McDonald looked pretty good though!
