Gee that Dion Prestia goes alright, 38 possies against arguably the best midfield in the comp...anyone heard of him??

Come home, Dion. Despite what some say, we do very much need your services.

This is St Kildas injury list for Round 11

 ST KILDA
Player Injury Estimated Return
Jack Billings Ankle Test
Sam Fisher Hamstring TBC
Jimmy Webster Illness  Test

And Billings and Webster are playing vs the Crows!  Their list is a joke and their absolute best team is getting annihilated

They were always being held together by aging stars. I thought they'd stay in the middle of the pack for another season, but it seems they might be going down sooner.

I know...that just  #@!!! with my head.  Bolton, one year  ( not even ) with that rabble has got them actually up and about despite a fair share of injuries.

We, with our sooper dooper  you beaut "plan"  still see-sawing ..  I know we;re heading in the right direction but we just got overtaken by bloody  Carlton FFS !!

Carlton could possibly win 5 more games for the year.. They've a BETTER chance than we have on current offerings.

I think it's hilarious. They need draft picks to build their ordinary list. Like St Kilda, Carlton's team is being held together be their older players, with very little coming through below that. Cripps and Weitering. Maybe Curnow in time. Anyone else? The higher they finish, the less likely they are to ever get anywhere with their current list. They need at least another year or two in the bottom 4 to get picks. Their spine is rubbish and their midfield is old. They're going nowhere. Bolton's structures and coaching are wallpapering their deficiencies for the moment, but they will be in big trouble if it continues.

Port v Pies

Interesting stats and highlights  why to take them with a truckload of salt.

Gee the Bluebaggers would have to fancy themselves next round. How the f did they get above us...

By winning consecutive games - when did we last string together more than two...two for that matter.

The Saints are pretty lucky to not cop more stick in the media for their losses. Much of the footy media still bracket us with them i reckon but whilst its tru they beat us they have been absolutely smashed on several occasions and we haven't. That suggest they have fair way to go.

Based on their form in rounds 1,3,5,6,7,9 and 10.

Have a look at Carlton's form and the looming injury list of Stkilda

I think the bigger thing is with us the " Handover" has happened, in terms of our side now belongs to Gawn, Hogan, Viney, Tyson and co and the older boys are really playing supporting roles, that hasn't happened at the Saints, they're still relying on the older boys to carry the team on the most part and that's why we're much closer to a flag than they are.

It is still an absolute disgrace and blight on the FD and the playing list that we lost to both Essendrug and The Aints this year.

The Roos era is 11 weeks away from ending and we are still a long way off where we should be.

I expected this years performance in 2015

I will never understand why AFL players cannot kick an accurate pass to a running teammate...

we continually fail in this basic fundamental.

And yet we continue to be their [censored].

I am SO sick of losing to them, about as sick as playing against them at Etihad always and forever, even when it is our home game.

You were spot-on . Kudos. Really didn't think the Saints would get up for this one.

Haven't seen it mentioned on here yet so apologies if I'm doubling up, but Kurt Tippett and Gary Rohan are likely to miss against the Dees next week.  I still doubt we can win but it doesn't hurt.

I bet Neville Jetta will be involved in more one-on-one contests with Lance Franklin than Tom McDonald will.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
