I would be absolutely staggered if that's the case.  Cannot be true.

I have found if you go to the ticket box at the ground the person will often sell you an admittance ticket.

I have this awful, disheartening sense of confidence. I really feel like we will win, and win well, which obviously means we are doomed.

We're riding on a paradox - if we're the favourites, we'll lose, so we shouldn't be the favourites, but then when it is changed and we're not the favourites, we should win, making us the favourites.

Quantum theory comes into play here. Until the final siren of any given game, all Melbourne supporters should maintain the emotional state of BOTH "We will win for sure" and "We're gonna get smashed", and also plan their after-match accordingly.

That line would work better if we were playing Geelong.

Woke up in a panic thinking I've missed the game and we lost.

Today is the opportunity, the prime time opportunity to prove to everyone, ourselves especially, that we have progressed. That we have improved. That we are no longer a bottom side in this competition.

We need to win because on paper we are as good as our opponent. But on paper it also says that we haven't won 2 in a row since before I had grey hair (courtesy of Melbourne).

Its time. Go Dees!

As are most games winnable this year for every team in it I hope we give effort like the north game and it will take care of its self .

Checking with the ticket sales outlets about tonight's game the GA allocation is exhausted, so sounds like a big crowd.

I am a MFC member for home games and am trying to bring my daughter, but the only tickets available are allocated seats, so if we buy one of these we can not sit together.

Does anyone have a suggestion how we can sit together while using my membership?

buy your daughter a membership outside the ground at the mfc tent, even if it is only a three game membership

problem solved

We have to be ready for a hungary tiger team tonight but if we can start like last week that would be brilliant.

A tiger all the way from Budapest?

Dear Melbourne,

Please don't suck tonight.

2 wins seem so insurmountable for this team. We need to win this, for nothing else but to get that damn hoodoo off our backs.

That being said, we are going in with some good form. Jeffy is back which gives us some better firepower up forward. Lids and Maric are playing their first game, so hopefully they are underdone. Wattsy is in good nick. We have a pretty good record against them. Going in as under dogs is far better for us.

That and its my birthday. Already had a few, so this will just top off a great day. Any chance to see those puffed up tuggers fans come crashing back to reality.

And there lies the problematic problem of the MFC supporter.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
