Anyone see this [censored] on the footy show tonight.  He has tried to connect us with Dank and supplements scandle over 3 years now..He will not leave it alone and now suggests that WADA is going to reopen a case on us.

The club needs to get on the front foot and smash this [censored]. He is a parasite.

Yeah saw it, Dank said he was at every training session from Nov to Feb just before the story blew open. Dank said he was dealing with Neil Craig who was asking Dank about increasing testosterone. Craig denies any wrongdoing.

Dank is certainly very vocal this week!

Personally, I reckon the AFL didn't want any more drug drama when they were going after Essendon, so they did a cursory investigation on us and gave us a clean bill of health.

I don't know how much we were tied up with Dank and his crew,  but it always felt like the AFL were more than keen to sweep our whitewash under the carpet.

Saty was at every training session too.

But remember when asada asked for our records and we, you know, had them and gave them to asada? Like 16 other clubs did?

Oh yeah

Oh yeah

He was just putting roofies in the Gatorade though, so he should get off lightly.

Dank failed in his defamation cases so now he's just showing the world that he really is a [censored].

Poor Trenners. Can't catch a break

One of the worst AFL (so called) journalists ever to grace the pages/screens. What a lightweight. Great at making "Drivel" and hearsay sound like it's news worthy ground breaking fact!

I agree with Tony T. We have no idea what Dank did at The MFC or how long he was actually involved

The club statement was generic at the time. Now all may be well, but if Dank was working in ANY CAPACITY for months then i would be very concerned.

How the CEO or Board didn't know we were dealing with Dank at all is just apalling however this plays out.

They found out later and responded. Bit late for that if there is even a shred of truth in Dank's timeline...

Sorry I did not see the show. is Danks who said he gave the essendon boys absolutely nothing now saying he gave the demons drugs!

I saw the segment.Hell Bent summed it up. No mention that Dank gave Dees any drugs.

Would be so fantastic if after the tanking debacle we got caught up in another investigation

Un.    Don't worry.

The AFL clearly ranks alleged tanking more seriously than using illegal peptides.

They reward teams found guilty of peptide use with top up players, and prime time games at prime venues.

Clearly we did the wrong thing: joked about tanking instead of getting on the hard stuff, and of course destroying or hiding records.

On the bright side, if Dank coughs up and puts us in the [censored] we wont be missing too many players as there arent many left. On the downside if he does dump us in it and it is team wide then from memory the players are Jones, Gawn, Watts, Dunn, McDonald, Garland, Dawes?,  and Frawley and Clarke at other clubs. That would be the end of any winning we may do.

On the plus side again, if we have records as we apparently do, and the players didn't sign any forms agreeing to be injected with banned drugs, then we are in a much stronger position than the Dons were. We also got cleared by ASADA so that gives me some confidence.

Didn't sound like they had much, besides Dank's word and that's worth less than nothing, though Barrett claimed to have seen some forms or something

Funny how Dank can now say all sorts of things about Bock and us yet is still silent on the Dons. I wonder when he will try and put Geelong in the gun.

Maybe if we did cheat he just wants everyone that cheated to be treated the same. His form of fair and equitable treatment.

It's shocking that he has just finished up in court trying to save his reputation and now he's gone and just admitted to being totally guilty of everything and more.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
