Okay, well I'm going to say I have been informed of this and I'd be fairly certain it's a reliable source

Much like if we keep patting ourselves on the back for honorable losses and simply putting in the type of effort that is required every week, then we are going nowhere.

Not at all Stuie. You miss the point completely and given you go on and on and on and on with illogical arguments normally I am not going to go into it past the next para.

Please note, I have not said I was happy to lose, I have not said losing is a good thing, I have not excused the players for losing, I have not said it was an honorable loss, I have not said we should rest on that and accept it. I have said I am happy with the way we played that game, yes we can improve but the way we played was very good. We played very good footy against a very good side and narrowly lost. That happens. If we play that same very good footy against a lesser side we will win. It really is a very simple concept to understand.

Yeah sorry, when you start off with a [censored] comment like that I don't GAF about the rest of your post.

Last week's performance was noticed. It's why the likes of McGuire have said that we're playing good football. Hell, Treloar described Melbourne as a "quality side" that "should be 3-0". Platitudes aside, there's no way anyone would dare have used the term "quality" to describe Melbourne directly after the Essendon loss.

Getting so close to North and beating them in every component bar the final score surprised many and repaired a fair bit of damage from the Essendon game. But there's a lot still to come. Beating Collingwood will help a little bit further. Just be professional and get the job done. 2-2 looks a lot better than 1-3.

Much like the credit I give you when you put words in my mouth and misinterpret what I have said!

Great for Jayden, another player many on here wanted delisted last year. Have a good one Jayden and then go on to a good AFL career with us.

Will give us something we lack, pace.

I have a feeling we will see a debutant this week in Jayden Hunt.

It will good to see it after toiling through rehab and stringing some good football together

Edit: you will have heard it here first

Good call fellas. Looking forward to seeing his pace in action

I like the Hunt in as it releases Salem to replace Vince in the mid field rotations, and potentially frees H to play a more attacking role on the wing .

We clearly are not respected and I don't think many people actually watched the game in Hobart. If you did you would surely say that if we bring that game again then we are a chance in almost every game we play.

And clearly we don't deserve any respect afte being probably the only side that will get beaten by the Bombers in 2016!

Misson said if Garlett gets through training and pulls up well the next day, he will play.

I stopped reading there!

Good luck to Jayden Hunt. I remember when we drafted him some people were saying he was better in school footy than Salem and Kelly. I don't expect him to be as good as either of those two but I have a feeling he'll impress on the big stage.

"Disagree. We are now doing what the good sides do, giving talented young players time, to develop their bodies and game. "

I wrote the above comment in January on Hunt after earlier posts last year when several posters wanted to delist him.

The point is however, we are now a different club to the crap we were a few years ago.

We are doing so many things better and player development is one of them.

This kid has been kept on the list for a few years, where he had a number of injuries, which restricted his game time for Casey. He has been allowed to get his body right, develop his game and is now playing his first AFL game.

We are developing a good list and our future looks bright. We just need to cherry pick a few players in the next year or two and we will become a strong club.

Well we wanted more pace and attacking footy.

Now we've got it.

Hunt, Lumumba, Salem and Wagner maybe all off the same half back line. Young midfielders. Speed to burn up forward.

Interesting times.

With our high attacking zone i.e all in forward half pressuring a score, having backs with pace also stops teams breaking out and beating us on the outside (like GWS tried to do)... It's smart.

The filth have upgraded 211cm rookie ruck Mason Cox. Think if he plays we'll be forced to bring in Oscar.

Oscar on Moore, Dunn on Cloke and Tom on whichever of Cox or Grundy is resting forward.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
