...and we've already got a picture of the young lad!

This could possibly turn out to be the longest ever running thread on Demonland.

Let's hope so.

Start him in the square against North. Couldn't be any more underdone than Brayshaw was last week.

I think you'll find that's a leg and a kneecap. Father/daughter?

Same hairdo as his/her old man.

Big head too.

Would've been right to go last game.

I'm glad that Jones' personal life is going a bit better than his professional life.

If we are still around when this kid is 18, and the AFL haven't scrapped the father/son rule by then, I will enjoy cheering on Jones Jnr.

And the ultimate predictions thread. What will the AFL look like when young Jones Jnr. makes his debut in 2036? I'm predicting helmets. And snorkels.

Gone to Freo I reckon.  Jack Viney had already well and truly signed by now.

(congratulations Mr and Mrs Jones!)

I wonder if the father son rule could be changed to a legacy rule, where by a child of a player who's played 100 or more games at a club can be signed on to that club early, with the female league coming in i think a few daughters might be keen to follow in their fathers footsteps!

it's a great time in the AFL

Trenners has a very nice girlfriend and has been in a long term relationship with her for some time. I am told it is quite serious.Didn't Jack Grimes get married just last year? If so - definitely time to get a move on.

Yea,  I think these guys should hurry up or I will miss seeing  their kids in red & blue !

Grimes needs 2 games

Trenners 19 games.

# As an aside,  the F/S 100 games limit,  should be changed,  to either 100 games or 5 consecutive seasons on one clubs list.  (senior list or rookie)  This would cover length of service to a club,  & it also looks after those who were chronically injured effecting their games tally.

.its only fair.  you know its so.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
