Phil Will probably come out and have 30 pies and a couple of cakes saturday

don't be silly, Phil can only do like 25 pies max. in a standard length footy game

That Pedersen video is hilarious. He literally throws him horizontally - it's not even really a tackle

It would be great if it became a challenge amongst the players, who can throw Scully horizontally the farthest during a game.

Sheedy should be pretty embarrassed if his ego would allow it - which it won't

quite. sheedy nevber really got the media spotlight put on him for this decision. nor gws for that matter

So many positives to look forward to on Saturday. Our new recruits, Max's rucking, Hogan's goal kicking - and booing Scully every time he gets close to the footy.

Yes...that can become one of our unique traditions. If he'd left St. Kilda then they'd probably choose to set him alight.

The commentary is beautifully timed.

"Did he throw that?", referring to the ball but it's timed just after Pedo throws Scully to the ground. Scully therefore being "that". Not even worthy of being named. Just an object.

Scully's proved to be a gem of a marquee signing.

Cubic Zirconia at best!

It feels like ages ago Scully left. Look at how our mid field has grown since then. I won't boo him because it looks like we still care that we left and face it we don't. I had no problem with him taking all that money, I just did not like the fact he told Jimmy all that bulldust about wanting to be a 1 club player and he wants to stay and he loves melbourne. Sam Stynes saw through the bulldust.

Also you cannot tell me that he did not know his father took a job with GWS and he only found out a year later when he signed on with them.

We should get some advice from StKilda on this aspect of the game.

if only the Ox was playing this week?  I reckon that little pink pig could fly over the Great Southern Stand.

If Scully were offered up for trade and looked like coming back to the MFC it would be very interesting to see how some supporters would feel, i personally don't think he'd be in our best 22.

Scully will go to the Tigers once he finishes his ridiculous contract. He always wanted to go to Richmond and would happily go for peanuts to play with them. Not that he would get too many games though, considering how awful he's been at the Giants.

He's a [censored] head, but he's such an average player that he's become irrelevant. If we'd lost a star, that would have been much harder to watch every week.

Showed real leadership when he ditched the club who drafted him for money, the only reason he was in it in the first place was to justify the big pay packet they are giving him. Still don't understand the logic in GWS offering that type of money to a second year midfielder when they could have picked up a dozen like him in the draft, Oh well GWS were the loses in that deal IMO.

Highly likely an unfavourable post coming up here, but Scully on the weekend was phenomenal, his last quarter effort against the Cats was definitely a matchwinning performance. Did anyone see it?

ps- still hate him, but credit where due.

The kid can play, no doubt about it.

He is a [censored] dirtbag though, no doubt about that either.

Interchange cap suits his running ability.

Doesn't solve his kicking issues though. He cannot execute. If he could spot up targets he could win a brownlow. But when he constantly finds the footy - only to butcher it - it lessens his effectiveness. I think most opposition coaches would be happy with the ball in Scully's hands.

Taken a few years for his 'Melbournising' to be left behind, but he is finally becoming a reasonable player.

The way Scully has been playing he would be a walk up start in our team, Runs games out, is creative, gets on the end of it and is starting to show some qualities Why he was a NO 1 Draft Pick!
