Need an injection of thymosin beta 4

Ha, nice one. All three have had great stories/careers but it's crunch time for Hoarse come years end. They haven't got the mix of inside/outside quite right.

If the Swans pick up for arguments sake Yarran, recycle a tall defender, and genuine crumbing small plus they will snavel another quality mid through the academy they're away again. They can afford to loose an inside mid and a top end draft pick.

Fair call, there was a ready made defender who may go 5-10 in the draft , I mentioned his name a week or so ago( just can't think of it now). Can they trade established player for pick?

Not sure of all the details, except they certainly cannot trade a big name player in.

The should take the AFL to court

Giants vs the Druggies. I'm not sure which side I want to fail more. Fortunately it's an ugly low-scoring game, so they both look pretty crap right now. You'd back us to beat either side based on this.

Scully subbed off with a shoulder injury. Not that we hold any ill-feeling towards the lad or anything.

Edit: He had 5 touches to 3/4 time! Worth every cent!

Should be a good run to the finals. North, Richmond, Geelong, Adelaide and now GWS will all be just one win apart with four games to play.

GWS need to beat Port next week, but if they can get that win, and assuming they beat Carlton at home in Round 22, they could well be playing for a finals spot when they play us in the last round. Would make the game that much more interesting if so.

Geelong and Adelaide may well be playing off in Round 23 for the other finals spot, the way things are going.

And the strange thing about that would also be what happened the last time they were due to play. Would be extra cruel if Adelaide missed out by half a game. I think they'll make it, though.

I love what the Dogs are doing and I think they'll be too good for us at Etihad, but I've just had a look at their draw.

They haven't beaten a top 8 side since Round 5. In fact, they even haven't played a side in the top 8 since Round 9. Since they bye they've played Geelong, who weren't in the 8 at the time, and otherwise have played 7 of the bottom 8, with the 8th side (us) to come this week. That's a ridiculously soft draw.

I noticed that as well tu...it just shows how ordinary all but the top 4 teams are this year.

I guess they can only beat who they play and they have done that very well.

Such is the good fortune when a bottom 6 side has talent and hits form.

Port were bottom 6 and had a 'soft' draw in Hinkley's first year. They also made the most of the opportunity.

It is a fabulous time to build belief and confidence that comes from winning regularly.

Of course the following year the draw is harder but some of that 'winning culture' carries over.

Next year will be our opportunity to take advantage of a bottom 6 draw!

Learn to win! Then, learn to 'put teams to the sword'!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
