Whose idea is it to play games in Cranbourne at night at this time of year? Surely the club can't be pushing for this.

Why?

Why?

Cold. Dark. Isolated. Not necessarily in that order.

Max King marks and boots his second goal for the morning.

I like this kids potential... might be a decent future forward prospect for the MFC

The Northern Blues are Carlton's VFL affiliate. If this keeps up we might have a hand in Malthouse's downfall.

Makes me wonder, if Malthouse had have taken the job after Baileys sacking, we might've ended his coaching career a long time ago.

Kingy seems to be blossoming nicely at this stage. Wonder if he'll get a renewal at the end of the year.

You seriously question that..?

King is still only 19, and it seems the club are not trying to hurry his development, but given our numerous NQR rucks the prospect of him becoming a genuine forward/ruckman is pretty heartening.

King will be just about delisted at years end. With his second season in the AFL system he is still cruising around in the development league. Infact i would even say he hasn't even been banging down the door for a senior selection.

In the Casey facebook page it has him listed as 2 goals and not even named in the best.

Oh well was worth a try.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
