Mods (or Billy2803) please delete post no 4 in this thread. Deeply offensive

I find people bringing Heroin into Australia far more offensive personally

And even more offensive is the Media turning them into political heroes..

Just my opinion....

Seconded Clint.

I have no idea what the point of this thread is.

It's probably to confirm that the Melbourne Football Club must be on the right track, as amateur "journalists" like Damien Barrett aren't publicly sticking the boots in to our club. The fact that some have not noticed his poor reporting means that he is either sacked, not reporting on the MFC and focusing on some other topic, or that he is on extended leave in Indonesia.

The OP rightfully has concerns about the person that seemed to stalk us for the past few years, especially now that it appears he has left without a trace. It is understandable that someone would be concerned for his welfare, yet at the same time have a sense of relief that the bins at the MFC are no longer being raided by an insignificant nothing.

At last, something of substance, although I think you're probably being a bit generous to the OP.

Pretty much where i was coming from, he has seemingly dropped off the face of the earth, just curious if anyone was aware as to why he wasn't posting articles on AFL.com anymore.

I can't fathom why anyone would bring up the subject of DB, let alone a discussion about the tool.

I'm hoping his absence is permanent.

Medieval rednecks love it.

Referring to him as a journo is being very kind...

Journo's are employed for one thing only.........................to write fairytales about happenings that don't exist in the real world. This sells daily rags apparently and in turn feeds these ravenous creatures along with their repugnant offspring. Occasionally there is a hint of actuality but this soon vanishes when truth is uncovered in their mind's own dungeons. It's a shame that much of the printed stuff that emits from their ramblings is not even suitable for mankind's most putrid daily ablutionary exercise. Ahh yes, journo's are not a flavour/odour that you could get comfortable with , nor be inclined to spend your hard earned sheckles upon nowadays.

Medieval rednecks love it.

I love it also.

Because stupidity deserves and gets punished.

Just like they said.

Pity the fool who smuggles massive amounts of H through Asia?

Nuh.

I'm pretty liberal in my views generally, but the death penalty is a valid option for elected governments to apply.

I would firmly disagree if this punishment was to be handed out by a Theocracy though.

Sharia or Isis or whoever these rags are deserve it equally because I find them distasteful.

They destroy antiquities several thousand years older than their religion.

Antiquities that predate their camel worship.

I can handle idiots murdering each other in the name of religion.

But spare the friggin museums.

Sorry to digress.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
