Just when I consign myself to the fact that he is definately going to Geelong , some nuff nuff on the Tele says the Dees are still a chance, this is playing havoc with my acid reflux.

As if Gia would have any idea as to what is going on.

Just trying to drum up ratings.

I remember an old lady ringing KB saying Buddy was going to the swans and everyone laughed at her.

What would she know? She trumped everyone.

Do I think Danger will come to us, probably not.

Do I think the clubs made a play for him, yes.

Sorry to rain in on the parade..

Dangerfield's manager Paul Connors has said his client is only considering the Crows and Geelong, with the Cats' home base 55 minutes from his home town of Moggs Creek.

I don't have anything to back this up but I'm refusing to believe that Dangerfield is going to Geelong. Something is just not adding up! Paul Roos came out and said we are going to be big players this year in the trades yet all we have heard so far is Melksham who I don't think is a huge recruit but could prove handy none the less. Melbourne had the money last year and by all accounts floated the idea of some serious money for Dangerffield and now we read about the contract with Geelong only being $800k a season for 5 years. A few suspicious tweets from Melbourne players to Paddy is also making me think there is more to the story than what we know. I could be wrong and maybe time will tell but we have all seen this before with Buddy and Tippet. Remember players managers get paid based on the size of the contract so that's why some things do t turn out the way that most people think.

He most probably is but

A - Until it's done it's not done.

B - If we have offered 1.5 for 5 you'd have to consider it.

Paul Connors already declared it's a two horse race, Geelong or Adelaide. That's as good as confirmation for me.

I haven't heard the quote, but I believe all Connors did was confirm Hawthorn were not interested and than went to say at the moment it's between Geelong and Adelaide. I think the press inferred those comments

So? He'd never base himself in Mogg's Creek.

I can't understand why this would be a factor.

Being in Vic would be key.

Presume such qualification by the manager is within the rules, but IMO such action borders on unfairness buy shutting other potential bidders out compromising real trade. Hope Adelaide steps up to the plate.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
