I'd suggest Roos attack on FA was a continuation of the MFC's push to ensure we get Pick 3.

When it's announced we have it, things should become clear quite quickly.

And next year I'd expect we'll be significantly behind the other clubs (who'll no doubt be led by Hawthorn, Sydney and Geelong) in terms of attractiveness for Paddy and we'll have lost our edge.

Sadly this is spot on. We have to pay big overs ($ and trade picks) to get players the year before their free agency. The successful large clubs just wait for the following year and get the free agent for no draft pick(s) and less coin.

Free agency is spitting on the notion of equalisation and farting on it simulaneously.

The info I have is that this was never seriously considered as an option by other clubs.

The leaks have been coming via Dangerfield's management who believe that Adelaide is ridiculously undervaluing Dangerfield's value.

Expect to hear from Danger by Monday!

I dont disagree or agree with this post it just a long one to quote so we can get to the 100

Yes. I fell asleep while reading it!

most clubs are paying overs for good or great players, including melbourne, how much is frawley being offered, if you are a wanted player by multiple clubs then you pay overs.

It's a vicious cycle if you're down the ladder its hard, if you're on the way up it gets easier.

Should Dangerfield join the MFC, we could be knocking on the door of the 8 in 2015 and the crop of 2015 Free Agents will look at us quite differently, i.e. we'll start to look attractive.

Makes you wonder what makes Dangerfield tick and if he's up for the challenge.

One post with negative mail and another with positive. I think the dact we had a crack at Dalhaus suggests we didnt consider danger a cert

Heard an informed rumour that he told the club's board he was committed to Adelaide but they were low balling him and until they came to the party he would actively seek other offers

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’
