Haha, 5 messages in 6 minutes you sent.

1, maybe 2 responses in that time.

Yet I am obsessed...

The days of Jamar being a viable target from a kick-in are long gone.

Recognize.

Tougher than Machsy?

Hard call, Machsy is just stupid and argumentative for the sake of it, Rod is obsessive and tries to be tough.

God it cracks me up when some sook here sends you abusive and threatening PM's, last 3 in a minute with one declaring I am blocked.

Then the sook responds to my posts

Mate I blocked your private messages now you contact me on the forum, please stop being so obsessive. It's bordering harassment

are you two secret lovers, like me and BBO are?

So much negative [censored] on here... North as much as I hate them are a better team than us right now. We

haven't played well... Its a work in progress.

Anybody else notice how frequently we let in a goal or two or three in the last couple of minutes of a quarter? Not that it would make a difference today, but really need to play them all out to the siren.

Ok, bad quarter but I'll be stoked if we can win the last. That would show something.

No excuse for basic, unforced skill errors. The turnovers are out of control.

That was dumb Frawley

Yep. Took too long and gave north a chance to get on the goal line... Really dumb

absolutely they are, most of us expected to lose, but giving them such a good lead and the opportunity to win through so many turn overs is what frustrates everyone.

Never seen Nathan Jones do so many turnovers in a game.

Probably has his mind on the birth of his kid soon.

He's allowed to have a sub-par performance once in a blue moon.

Interesting the commentators have picked up on Dawes leading pattern. I really noticed this last week (and it drives me crazy) when his first move is to call the ball long over the back. He is expecting team mates to kick the ball over 60mtrs at times and it's just unrealistic. He needs to lead up to the ball.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
