How Buddy warms up to play the Demons

Isnt it good he moved to sydney to get away from the media?

On the other hand his girlfriend will be getting a brand new car. I think he can afford one.

I thought I remembered Franklin as having his drivers license suspended, which is why Hanneberry was driving his car a few weeks back.

Am I remembering it wrong?

BTW, how many strikes does this make it?

Alcohol not a factor apparently (he was breath tested). Weird though because he seemingly hit 3 cars head on totaling his car and the other 3. Police are continuing to investigate the collision but say it is too early to determine whether speed was a factor. Do they mean how fast the car was travelling?

Very few people driving at 50 can take out three cars in a row and write them off. He would have been flying, whether drugs wise or speed wise.

Alcohol. Ruled out but did they conduct any another tests.

Math tests were not available at this time but I'm tipping he would not have passed those...

.

One less than he needs to get suspended.

Including all the ones everyone knows about that have been swept under the rug by the higher powers to be; about 1567

Ah....Andrew...."the integrity of the game"!

Could happen to anyone.

That he was sober is a bit of a surprise.

Some of Sydney's worst drivers live near Rose Bay .

I don't know whether to make a Jewish Joke or an Aboriginal Joke out of this one?

I'm torn.

My theory is that Buddy drives in a similar fashion to the way he kicks for goal i.e he does a dramatic veer to the left as he unwinds to kick the footy. Hence, he did the same thing last night and wrote off four cars.

Alcohol. Ruled out but did they conduct any another tests.

Luckily the NSW police are above suspicion of corruption.

An IQ test would have been too difficult for both parties.

Sure you aren't mixing up events. Dusty had the suspended license

Nope, I checked it, but apparently it was late 2012 and only for 6 months, so he'd be back driving now.

We can be thankful there is now one less menace on Victorian roads.

Don't see any issue. That's normal driving in Sydney.

Buddy was probably attempting a "hook turn".

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
