I reckon it's Jay Kennedy-Harris, He has speed, Skills, leadership qualities, he brings a spark and looks like he has a huge amount of upside

I liken him to Allen Christenson, or Mathew Stokes

Alexis for me. Ready to go from round 1, understands his role and limitations

At this stage JKH but it will take most of the season to come up with a definitive answer.

No, you won't know until the end of their careers.

JKH is the find of this season. I continue to be surprised at his speed and agility over the first three steps and he has genuine goal sense. But I don't reckon he will play in the first few rounds because Roos has been very strong about protecting the young er players' development.

Now don't split hairs "hard" - I'm talking about the find of 2014.

Well, the way things have gone at the MFC, that could well be the end of their careers.

Surely if you can have Tyson on the list, then you could put Vince and Cross?

So far Vince is our best recruit from the new demons

Dom has them covered by a mile. I'm looking forward to seeing him and Viney break some skulls.

Dom's going to be something special but that was expected. Vince and Cross's output was expected. You could argue Giorgiou, although he had a well known reputation in the SANFL so people had an idea of what to expect. Michie is shaping up very nicely but also had a great season in the WAFL last season so there were expectations. I don't think you could call any of these a "Find".

To me a "Find" is a player no one knew about and you find them when you didn't know you had them. Surely on that basis JKH is the find so far. By the end of next year it might well be Jayden Hunt.

I actually really rate Cross. He may not be in the same league as Vince on the field, but he is setting such a good example around the club. Ask a Bulldogs supporter and they will tell you that he had a lot to do with the development of their young mids through is mentoring and training example. He's doing the same thing with our group now and we are going to see some huge benefits from it in the next couple of years. If we're lucky we'll manage to shift him from playing straight into a development/coaching role in a couple of years and continue to benefit from his skills in this area.

Tyson will be most valuable, but "find" in terms of one out of the box, JKH by the Flemington straight. Pick 40 is looking like a steal.

I support your way of thinking but I'd say Michie for pick 54 will pay more immediate dividends.

Looking forward to them all. Particularly keen to see how Harmes and Hunt shape up at VFL level. I like Harmes at training he seems to have a crack at everything and could make a nice depth mid pretty adept at most aspects of footy. Hopefully he can put in some decent VFL performances. Hunt as well, some pure speed off half back would be great for this team. Obviously pretty skinny and raw but another who could develop nicely.

If Georgiou is a confident and competent 3rd tall defender from deep in the rookie draft he must win the find of the year.

JKH was pick 40 but he was also our second pick, we were obviously pretty keen on him and his training efforts were great he was switched on from day 1. But it's still early days for him. If he plays well he'll then draw interest from better defenders and so on. Have to remember it's not where these young guys start but where they end up in a few years time. And that applies to both rusty debut performances and great early career form.

Reckon Riley should've been included in that list.

I reckon he'll prove to be the 'find' that Adelaide didn't see coming and which they may very we'll live to regret.

Vince, Michie, Cross and Tyson are our best recruits IMO, but (with the possible exception of Michie) I hardly think any of them are 'finds' as such.

Probably a battle between JKH and Georgiou for the 'find' of 2014. On a needs basis, probably Georgiou.

I reckon our first round draft pick which ultimately netted us Tyson & Salem

Sorry for the missing Poll options, I felt we kinda knew what Vince and Cross would provide so they're hardly a find, and Riley is going to be out for a while yet so not sure he will get the chance to play too much senior footy.

JKH for us this year, but that's really only because of circumstance. We have no smart, agile or skilled small forwards. Byrnes is on his last legs and nobody else on our list plays that position as naturally.

He'll get the most games out of our draftees.

What excites me most is what Roos has already flagged. The need to develop and nurture our first year players properly. I'm really looking forward to watching Salem's progression and development this year at Casey with the pressure right off. Same goes for hunt and even Toumpas and Viney at stages this year.

Looking forward to the day where our list is strong and stable enough for young players to have to wait and play consistently well before being given a game. I can't remember the last time we were in that position.

There'll be more trading before that occurs though. We still need a talent top up on top of Vince and Tyson from this year.

JKH will be one of the steals of the year, Georgio will be the unexpected handy pick up, but for me Dom Tyson has shown he is already taken a leap with his development (I have a feeling Roos and George Stone will do great things with him) and he will step in to being one of our best mids this year. It's important to remember he is still developing but he looks like he'll be a very good player for us.

Reckon Riley should've been included in that list.

I agree it's between these two, but interesting that you see Georgiou as fillng a greater need. Right now with Garlo going down it could be argued that he is, but with the long standing absence of crumbers and quality small forwards, I would've thought JK is filling a greater need. His versatility and ability to run through the middle only adds to that.
