$cully 3rd in GW$ B & F

I hope that weasel is spitting chips (which I'm sure phat Phil is eating) that he left now.

He probably isn't because he's a millionaire, but I am a strong believer in karma and I don't think he will ever experience real success because people like him don't deserve it.

It's bad Karma to point out how "bad" other people are. If you really believe in Karma, then the best thing to do is let things work themselves out and not draw attention to the payback that's coming. If you do, you might just pick up a little bad Karma yourself.

The utmost level of irony is to say that Karma is a female dog. Anyone who does that is setting themselves up for a fall.

What you on about?

I didn't start the thread. I was simply pointing out that karma is a b*tch. Brent Moloney told me so.

They don't even vote after each round! Its done at the end of the season when the coaches sit down and say "who do we think deserve it"

Its a farce of the highest order. Much like the club itself.

And a truly remarkable achievement to finish 3rd in the b & f considering he wasn't in the best three for his team more than once or twice during the season.

I think it might have something to do with the unique voting system at GWS where they weight the votes by multiplying the score by each player's pay packet.

That is the only way he could have possibly rated third.

I checked every week and I cannot remember him being in GWS's top three once.

Too big of an embarrassment not to have him high up is the answer.

he is given extra votes and high B and F finishes to try and justify his laughable salary

same thing happened last season too

he has been no better than Trengove in either season

the fact he finished ahead of Treloar and Adams is laughable, and I bet both those kids will be asking for a trade to another club

Stats mean squat. I think everyone would agree how valuable Crowley is to Freo. Compared to Scullys numbers on paper you would say Scully is the better player.

Tagging is a completely different kettle of fish.

The criteria are as follows:

1. Football performance (25%)

2. How many kilograms your father weighs (40%)

3. Your salary (35%)

Seeing as young Thomas would have been well ahead of the rest of his team mates in criterion numbers one and two, it's no wonder that he finished so high.

I often laugh and think how much of a bagging he would be getting on here if he'd remained a Demon. Another pick #1 under-performer... At least Wattsy would be able to take a breather.

But Crowley stops his opponent.

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
