They changed it last year or the year before I believe to something along the lines of Best Young Player, which would have rendered Jones ineligible.

People go on about our drafting in the past, which is fair enough, but to have two first year players 3rd and 4th in the B&F a) is a small victory for the drafting team and b) says something about the 'established' players ... though injuries didn't help the likes of Grimes or Trengove.

No offence to either of those guys, but it just shows that most of our better players were either injured for large chunks of the season (Frawley, Dawes, Grimes, Clark) or badly out of form (Trengove, McDonald, Howe).
