Could they then ban the whole team for a specified time instead? (without any individual bans)

They have a rule which says if two or more players in a team sport use banned substances then the team can be banned

Even if the cream is applied to a localised area eg foot would its effect still be permeated throughout the body in a performance enhancing way? If not, surely there is a line between helping a sore/effected limb recover compared to trying to change your physiological capabilities in the context of a PED via injection.

3AW: Demetriou says it's been "absolutely" confirmed that AOD-9604 was administered to Essendon players.

If ASADA/WADA then decide to issue infraction notices to Essendon, I reckon we're in trouble to. There is a very good chance we also administered AODee to our players.

Unlike Essendon, we have everything on record and have already said that anything injected to our players is legal.

it wouldn't need to permeate the entire body to be considered 'performance enhancing', localised treatments to speed up the recovery of injuries also fall into the category. in a similar vein for example, anabolic steroids are banned because they speed up muscle recovering and aid muscle growth - not because they make you stronger if you take them on the morning of your match

having said that, seems like much of the confusion from WADA/ASADA may relate to how AOD is administered - i.e. maybe it is OK in cream form but not as an injection. that's probably what it will boil down to in Trenners case

I was under the impression that they knew we were getting injections, but that they didn't know Dank was involved, which makes sense since he was never employed or seen inside the club and was cohorting with our doctor, via texts. Said doctor has now been sacked.

If its a clean accurate and reliable record then it might help MFC.

However, I understood its been established that no one was aware that Dr Wolf was consorting with Danks and arranging.

The records would seem to be useless from a goverance perspective if no one knew about them or reviewed them.

Like Essendon jaded we have no idea what happened at Gladstone park.

At this point we have the word of a doctor who has proved he is loose with telling all

I have no confidence that this club is in the clear over supplements, certainly the AFL lost confidence in Schwab to run the MFC around this time, anything that has CS or DMc fingerprints on it has to be a worry for us.

Its not clear that the FD/Executive knew much at all as there seemed to be a rush for the exit for all to disassociate with Dr Wolf when the Danks connection was established.

And its not clear who Wolf reported to.....Misson, Craig, Mahoney...

None of us knows the precise facts about what Dank's role was or what JT took or didn't take so why speculate?
