I really really feel like crying.

I have nothing left anymore for this club. At this stage not even Paul Roos coming to coach us would make me feel less hopeless about this club.

At some stage everyone reaches a breaking point. I'd like to congratulate everyone on this forum for having an almost inhuman tolerance for emotional abuse.

If we're deemed not deserving of a priority pick no club ever will be ever again. Then again, we need so much more than a PP. We need 2-3 experienced hard bodied leaders, we need a mini draft set up

Watts looks like he doesn't want to be there.

At least we know he has an excuse, waiting for the coaching appointment.

Had a good first quarter and his play and bounces through the guts created a couple of goals.

Second quarter makes me think he should start his own franchise: "Where's Wally Collin?"

Living up to his reputation.

No he didn't. He had a few loose possessions by himself.

I want to see some Pride and some fight. Has any team lost to both GWS and the Suns in the one season yet.

If its a race to the bottom or a crappy record I'm sure we'll find a way.

Getting killed on the offensive turnover. The ease that they run it through the middle is below afl level. Why no defensive pressure in the middle.

SO MANY HANDBALLS. ENOUGH WITH HANDBALLING INTO DANGER.

WHY DO WE HAVE THE STUPIDEST PLAYING LIST IN THE AFL?

The worst form of torture: being forced to watch a Melbourne game...

We have to get a superstar mid at all costs. Look what Ablett does for the Suns. It is so crucial for the other mids. Not the only answer but will be a great start.

Clisby was in trouble and Dunn was jogging around him. Bugger off Dunn, you're done.

fear not I shallnt be drawn to quote myself very often....

however

"The journey of the Melbourne Football Club has come to this, a game against the leagues bottom club to be played at a former baseball ground come animal arena sited deep in enemy territory of Sydney's West.

Despite the less than inspiring locale the greatest concern is that this lowly team doesn't embarrass us. Yes, you read it right, that the leagues least successful team doesn't humiliate us.

The shame , the shame.

18 blokes running around in orange-y jumpers.... give it to some of them

We don't run and support. We don't help each other. We are a selfish, lazy bunch of unprofessional wannabes.

I have it on authority after last week that straight after the game, in the changerooms, the players were discussing the full moon party they have booked in Thailand for the post-season. Pea hearts. Apparently Jackson heard them and ripped a few a new hole!

Apologies to Nate Jones. The guy is a lion.

Totally with you, Jaded. There have been times this year when I've been thoroughly apathetic towards the result. Today I feel like punching walls and yelling at people. This is fcuking pathetic performance. Further, kicking it long to Gawn or Fitzpatrick as a plan A with no plan B is not going to work, Craig.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
