I dare anyone to look at Jack's expression and tell him he doesn't deserve to be on there. For me he gives more effort than most of the other players.

Never in doubt. Just reservations about the trend of placing all bets on the 'great new hope'. He's the future, but he's still a first year player.

Anyhow, no biggy. Viney is synonymous with the Dees, no question.

Love the banner. Everything around us is changing (hopefully for the better) so a fresh banner makes sense. Three remaining places I am thinking Toumpas, Viney and ???

I cannot believe the vitriol directed toward Garry Lyon. Granted, his work helping appoint the last two coaches reeks of nepotism and inability, but no-one should ever forget his role in helping the Dees emerge through the late 80's early 90's into a team that was a serious challenger. He bleeds red and blue. He simply does not want to get involved in a position at the club. Why is everyone so miffed at him for this? Have you ever thought that the reason he does not take on a role is because he would be poor at it, as indicated by being the swingman who came in a couple of times to help Jimmy out? Look how that has worked out!

Sorry 'Maldon', I get that he doesn't want to be involved, he doesn't have to... but his meddling in club politics (an area he swears he has no interest in) has put the club back years, he should of kept out of it.

Nice to see a bit of humour creeping in to DL topics ... Doesn't happen often enough... Good Sign ?? :) On the topic of pointing fingers (David Neitz's photo) Dunn seems to do it a lot... Almost as bad as Jack Riewoldt LOL :) What's the "point" ? Just saying... :lol: Most of us have been "pointing the finger" at our Boards and players etc. for many years now maybe the pointing finger is a very apt addition .. lol ??.... Hang on .. Isn't this whole topic a little "pointless".. B)

The whole time WYL was having his insulting little whinge he failed to notice the little Easter Egg that had been left. In fact no one has noticed or mentioned it.

i just found it after quite sometime looking on the right hand side... thanks demonland.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
