Wow the Dees should take note how the Dogs played tonight against the Saints.

They were hard at the contest, TACKLED, skills were good and they never gave in.

They played for each other as a team and seem to play for the coach too

Melbourne should watch this game.

They were everything Melbourne is not at the moment.

Dogs supporters should be proud.

We will not beat them in our current form.

I wonder if Brendan Goddard will cry for "his" Saints.

He is a big reason they are not competitive anymore.

I think he had enough of the saints wyl and never got over the GF losses.

Me thinks he needed a change.

Crying when he was intervied was most humorous.

If i was a Saints player i would be furious!

Must admit I was also reaching for the Kleenex!!!!!!! Cause I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering.

at least Brendan McCartney backs his players to play with dash and flair

Neeld take notes

Neeld is officially the worst coach in the AFL

I think he has faith in his players and their ability something I think Neeld doesn't have which has been part of the problem from the beginning.

Even worse than Bailey, that's saying something.

Gee, but I thought their list was total rubbish and they had no future?

Did themselves proud tonight. Good on them.

Gotta love there young midfield. Gonna be absolute guns. Stevens, Hrovat Stringer Smith Mcrea Libba Wallis johanessen plus Griffen and boyed to lead the way. They went after young recruits like Koby Stevens ( who i badly wanted last year) and tom young and both been solid contributers will be part of a bright future for them. We went after money ball bull crap stuff and it sets us back another 5 years. Bye bye neeld.

We were just as hard last week as they were this one. They were close to as sh1te last week against the Suns as we were. You should watch some of their other performances and also consider their opposition.

Stevens was great today but has not broken 20 touches prior to this game. I note how you wet yourself at their one paced mids but don't mention a single defender or forward. Any reason for that? I would take our list over theirs any day of the week.

Although i was happy for the Dog Supporters i do think the game worth watching was the Swans and Magpies game

That is the what it takes to be considered the toughest team to play against

If Neeld doesn't back his players to play with dash and flair, how come we play on more after marks than any other than in the AFL?

Logically either Neeld backs them but the players aren't executing well enough or Neeld doesn't back them but the players aren't listening and are playing their own way!

If we play slow people blame Neeld, if we play too quick people blame Neeld. I'm not convinced Neeld is the right coach nor that he is any good but the arguments being used to demonstrate how bad he is are so stupid that it is just pathetic Neeld bashing for the sake of it.

Give it a rest mate.

We know you don't like Neeld.

There are countless relevant threads you can put your non-constructive, 'insightful' hyperboles in.

Lol there midfield will be far more superio then ours. We are just as SLOW so cut the crap. I would take stevens over bail, magner, rodan, mckenzie. Mcrea will be a star, jury still out on toumpas.. Hrovat will be a beauty too. They will build a good midfield around Griffen Libba and Wallis. Roughead will be a great defender for them for many years. They have young Tahlia being groomed aswell and played a couple of games in his debut year last year and was impressive. Chip frawley will leave at either this year or next. Hates the being at the club, uncle spud reckons he is wasting his career with us and he is encouraging him to leave. That will leave a massive hole on oue list. Yes there forward line are there weekness but ours isnt exactly setting the world on fire. Clark is injury prone and could hardly get on the park. Dawes still catching up in match fitness. Good leader and sets a good example but please the bloke cant take a mark out in front to save himself. Hogan will be good but dont expect him to set the world on fire knowing the way we cant develop our kids. I do reckon he will be a gun though.

You have completely missed my point. They have some good looking young mids but all are inside except for McRae. They have nothing at either end of the ground. Easier for us to build a midfield than for them to find a defence and attack. You state McRae will be a star but the jury is out on Toumpas. Roughead will be a great defender. I stopped reading at this point.

I think we need to cut him some slack BRFE, have a look at his assessment on this thread compared to his assessment re Hogan vs Danniher, both assessments appear to be polar opposites to me.
