We can forget about sacking the coach or drafting better player.... If we play more matches like that this season, with crowds that low.... We will be lucky if we're in the AFL next year.... We are an embarrassment to our supporters and the AFL....

I will support the club to its dying day..... Sadly I think I might see it..... Soon...

Do people really think that changing yet another coach, is going to fix our club?

The problems that our club faces Are deeply rooted.... We have a vast history of poor administration decision.... This club has been run behind the rest for along time....

Why?

starting again with a new coach, would mean more poor performances.... And more poor crowds..... Which we can not afford.... The AFL wont us out of the MCG and out of the league.... If they could relocate us tomorrow they would in a heart beat..... The media are circling and can smell blood..... Of the whole club....

A new coach now, would mean the end of the MFC....

Garry just denied a rumour on TFS tonight that Neeld is in strife.

Smoke? Fire?

Ha! You must be joking. That's not what happened. They asked him if he'd called for Neeld's head after the weekend and he said it was an erroneous report.

No smoke. No fire. Just a naughty little boy distorting reality to fit his current viewpoint ..

Will the AFL move in as administrator of the club and clear the decks if we continue to embarrass ourselves and tarnish the brand? We owe them $500K, membership is floundering and we appear to lack a clear direction and ability to improve. Top that off with the coach for now has decided to ignore all the comments and stick to his plan because he is always right. Be afraid.....

I agree with a couple of your points however there are a few I cannot accept

How could we be worse than 2012 and Last Sunday?

Crowds and membership are crap now

That will happen if we don't start winning games and right now we don't look like fixing the problem any time soon, if we changed coaches I find it hard to believe we could win less games than current.

The media have been circling us for five years, nothing new there.

Changing coaches would be far from a good look.

But we look Irrelevant now I struggle with how we could look worse.

I worry about our future too Older Demon but I don't see the AFL doing what you suggest.

After failed meagers , they would wait for the club to go belly up.

That in my worst dream is a few seasons away.

If nothing much improves by year end there will be a s--- fight at years end.

I dread the next five months it is IMO not going to be pretty.

Nup. You must have missed it. Garry tamped down a rumour right at the start of the show. The word "rumour" was used.

Ignoring it doesn't make it not so.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
