we cant even beat a side that was formed 3yrs ago, go chuckle on that, Power will pump us in Round 1, absolutely putrid pre season form once again, Neeld will be gone by the end of the season, hes just another coach who could sell ice to the eskimos.

Are you sure you're not Ricky Nixon toot toot

Chin up mate - talking logic with you would be a waste of time considering you're commnts on a game you haven't seen.

Unless you are at the game how do you know we have played with no heart?

How does a side that has trained for 6 solid months manage 7 goals in a game of footy against a bunch of kids in a newly formed side, join the dots.

Yeah because our players have stood up and been accountable in the past. I would love to hang around you if I was a MFC player because nothing is there fault. It's pre season so I'm not bothered by this game but if you want to have a crack even the spread between coach and players.

Not too many teams aim to play their best footy in March.

A lot of lack of acknowledgment for GC more likely committed to winning in front of their own to boost memberships. If this footy is being played by us in rd 5 I'll jump in board the 'cut throat' bandwagon...

But anyone commenting on commitment from players and game style from

Practice matches is a moron

Apart from the newly formed side bit i think we are pretty much on par with Suns

I dont, they have a Rolls Royce midfield, Ablett, Swallow and Benell, it will be out of us and the Bulldogs for the spoon this year unfortunately.

Did you hear anything that Allen Iverson said?

There will be improvement, but there's still 5 or 6 players who are deadwood from a previous regime.

They will go at season's end.

Well we need the report but if most of the guys on paper played then its a bad result.

The scoreboard will show we lost by 4 goals but the truth is in the space of 2 quarters we went from a handy lead to getting smashed.

The problem is we have zero momentum for round 1. We will get rolled in round 1 an then proceed to lose more confidence.

Hopefully we don't have any more injuries and in round 1 we can get together something that resembles a decent side and get lucky.

OK.. Fairly even match besides the string of GC goals in the third, last quarter i'ld say we got the better of them, Tappy got absolutely creamed in the back with a resulting "play on" leading to a GC goal, frees went that way today.

Watts BOG. Sylvia was hungry,

no Davey, Jetta, Clark, Dawes, Viney, Garland (2nd half, not subbed, well no vests?!), Trengove..

it was a practice match, a good hit out. BELIEVE PPL!!! looking forward to the real stuff.

I just got hit with a footy typing this.

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
