Not on my part dc. Don't shoot the messenger. :)

no i know that.

that made-up flag was just ausflag drumming up publicity. it came out of nowhere

Jurrah really did the club a favour by walking out on us, he basically gave us an 'honourable' way out. Could you imagine how the Melbourne media would have responded to the club if he was still a listed player.

Well, even I have to agree now that if there is truth to this latest charge, then LJ has well and truly torn up his last "Get out of Jail Free" card. A really sorry state of affairs.

oh dear. the saga goes from bad to worse

Adelaide

court issues warrant for Liam Jurrah's arrest

Interesting Bv he is now Former AFL footballer

Never thought I would see the day, MFC not mentioned.

Goes from sad to very sad

Dear Australia, outback Australian indigenous communities are seriously ****ed. See Liam Jurrah for another of the long list of sad stories. I don't have a clue how to fix this mess and the AFL have tried to play a small part but it doesn't seem to have worked. If anyone has any genius ideas I wish them well.

Yeah but for every Liam Jurrah there are plenty of happy stories, like Garramul Yunupingu. Let's celebrate them instead of wasting pity on those who won't help themselves.

No-one can fix another's mess from with-out. Change can only come from with-in.

I fear for his health.

I can't see a way out for Liam, in the city life, or in the Bush.

his bridge is burning from both ends.

That's a good way to put it dee-luded. I still can't believe that this has happened. I hope everything turns out alright for him but in the end I'm not sure how it can.

Its funny you know.....lifes about choices.

On one path Liam could have been a highly paid AFL superstar.

But Liam chose the other fork in the road, and is now on the run from the law.

When he bolted from the MFC I had this gut feeling this would happen.

As soon as he returned to the FAMILY it all went down hill at a rapid rate.

As soon as he lost the support of the MFC it all came apart

Sad but not unexpected IMO

A bit like guys who spend their time writing training reports

What, "simple?"

That's one of the worst replies I've read on this board, Roost It.

Some supporters are keen to get along to training and report back to Demonlanders and have time to share their thoughts on methods and updates on new recruits and so forth. If anything, you should appreciate any updates you read.

If you're fair dinkum and sensible, I'm sure you would re-consider your post and offer apologies to all in sundry that contribute training updates here.

not quite deezee, I think Liam was chosen to be his clans leader, born into it.... & he's just early 20's. too young for so much crap.

That fateful friday he went home...

He had it all down here. Threw it away.

he wasn't going to make it WYL

& his decisions of poor judgement, show his true age, & battle with too much pressure.

he was up against it. from the start.

Having read the info available this afternoon it appears to me that LJ is missing.

It does not look good

I fear the worse case headline has not been written.

I hope I am wrong but I have a very bad feeling about this tonight

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
