Ha, ha ......... and of course there was also the sudden and 'mysterious' resignation of former AFL football operations manager, Adrian Anderson. The casualties mount in AFL Tanking fiasco ..

I was told on the weekend that AA's departure was more to do with AD and AA's lack of career path after GMc was deigned to be AD's nominated seat filler.

Don't let the truth get in the way of the AFL bashing.

I wonder why they didn't see a path for him at the AFL?

Maybe because when he was interim head he kicked off an investigation that will lead nowhere but embarrass the AFL...

If Caro was around at least we'd know what was going on.

lol

Once again with some flaming?

This is the same humour that trolls enjoy.

Just letting you know.

Agree 100%. His departure was certainly a case of odd "timing".

Fortunately there is always some dope to respond.

BTW, it's probably a true statement. I know many here can't get past her "editorial" comment or inflamatory style but the lack of information since her articles stopped has been very frustrating. We've basically got no idea what's going on and we would if she was still around. I'm not sure we'd like it but at least we'd know.

I'm not spooked by the information.

Weve got no real idea because the beaks are all keeping mumm about just about everything which youd expect them to until they see the whites of Vlad's Imperial eyes.

And somehow Kerro would spirit away the facts ?? ffs...gimme me and others a break !!

You think I am spooked by her misinformation? She didn't know that the meeting was a routine MC meeting and that it was in a building nicknamed the Vault when she asserted that we had a 'codenamed' meeting to discuss Tanking...

You have tied yourself to her claims and that is fine by me but don't expect anything other than ridicule and distrust when you say how much of a great job she is doing and wonder aloud about the lack of information gathered in her absence.

I think you are confusing speculation with information.

She wrote her damning editorial upon her fallcious 'report' and I am certain if she had her time again she would not have been so vociferous.

But she, and her flunkies, are in too deep now and anything that happens now is either testament to her bullishness or a cover up intended to save face.

That isn't journalism - that's not reporting the news, it's designing the news and massaging information to fit a narrative.

Keep up the good work, Fan.

There's been plenty of information in her absence imho.

Pierik's articles may be 95 per cent cut and paste but the top two or three lines on each have been informative - the focus on fumbling, the scrutiny on Jack Watts, and today's article - with quotes from a legal source - about the different ways we might respond / defend ourselves.

I'm still of the belief that Caro was briefed by the 'disgruntled' elements in (or formerly of) the club, while Pierik is clearly being fed by the MFC. ie it was Caro for the prosecution and Pierik for the defence.

I can't understand why a Melbourne Football Club Supporter would deliberately try to antagonise other Melbourne Football Club Supporters; each to his own I guess.

We found out a heap about the nature of the investigation and how what was found out was proposed to be parlayed into possible charges. I reckon the reason we don't hear from Caroline is that her analysis of the whole thing was subjective and horribly wrong. She is probably crossing her fingers that it's all over before she gets back to work.

I had no idea what was going on when she was writing articles. Nothing has changed since she went on holidays.

We certainly have grown the amount of negative political spin doctors around here in the last few months.

They know who they are...THE MFC has said nothing as far as i am concerned.

Nor has Wilson..of any substance...

I'd also hazard a guess that whoever was feeding CW information has now seen how much damage it could do the club, rather than just the individuals, and subsequently The Age's sources from within have dried up.

Or the club itself has restricted the number of people with insight into the finer details of the matter, as a result of previous leaks.

So I'm not allowed to say that I think if Caro was still reporting the situation we'd know more.

How on earth is that antagonising MFC supporters?

I would hope our legal representatives have told Wilson & co to stop writing their opinions as fact in the press otherwise they will be legally challenged.

Wilson would be walking a thin line if my legal sources are correct in what they are telling me so far.

She has been on holidays a long time.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
