Wishing all Demonlanders our thanks for supporting this site and our club in 2012. It's been a tough year but we believe happy days are just around the corner.

So please accept our best wishes and seasons greetings. Have a happy and safe new year!

This is one of our favourites and a good way to celebrate the season *

I think We're Justified then in calling you Ancient ^_^

B safe fellow Demons

Demonland has been sensational through the bleak times (both kept me sane and drove me mad), imagine how good it will be as our stocks begin to rise. Thanks guys for a wonderful forum. All the very best to everyone!

Merry Christmas fellow Demonlanders. I have enjoyed every minute of the forum this year. I am looking forward to bigger and better things next year.

MMXII was truly an annus horribilis

My wife and I would like to wish all Demonlanders an annus magnificus for MMX!!!

Noillag Shona to all Demonlanders, may 2013 be kind to all of us and our familes and here's to hoping we are all in higher spirits by mid season

Thanks for making my daily check at demonland in my first couple months here one of highlights of my day.

Go the Dees in 2013!

Top effort D'landers and especially site administrators and mods, in a very bleak year. Here's to a much better one next year.

"Tis the season to consume and prop up the economy with purchases of Chinese plastic.

Let us all remember that we are leaving a pig sty for our children to clean up as we increase the profits of the multinationals .

Happy festering Season.

Merry Xmas to all you Devils. (especially the perennially merry ones).

May we bring havoc to the comp in 2013 .

A great christmas to all and a re awakening of the Demons in 2013.

Look forward to some full on debate about football in the new year, we've just about had our share of off field stuff this year. Hopefully only the tanking all clear to go and then we can get on with the business of winning games.

Cheers

All the best to all fellow Demons (both at 'land and 'ology) . Big thanks to those who help run both sites .

It's been a tough year for the footy club but we will emerge stronger and better .

The Demons will be 'lean and mean' in Twenty13 !

Thankyou to Demonland, it's moderators & administrators.

A Very Merry Christmas to ALL who post here & to our Members, Supporters, the Club Management/Board, Footy Dept', & players.

Hoping for a safe & healthy year ahead, for all of us, our families & loved ones...

And a Special mention for our supporter friends, who are doing it tough with some Health Issues, & other concerns.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to one & all. dl...

Best wishes to all Demonlanders and all fellow demons, and especially to those who run the site. Great job!

I propose we launch a tradition of adding a verse to the club song for each premiership from now on (and here's hoping that soon our song will take ages to sing :) )

I like the sound of the following:

Oh, the team were keen back in 2013,

We had winners on all of our lines,

And we held up the premiership cup,

Dedicated to Jimmy Stynes,

Every heart beats true for the red and the blue,

As we sing this song to you (whadda we sing?)
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Keep your eye on the red and the blue.

Merry christmas to all demonlanders! this is a fantastic website, looking forward to bigger and better things in 2013 :)

Santa got me a signed framed Jim Stynes jumper! What a champ!

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
