Saw that he was in the press today....skimmed over the article but read most of the highlights.

Seems to be a bit of a bad boy. Will he survive the AFL?

I think the professionalism is too hard for him.

If you didn't put a name to him, i could swear you're talking about one Colin Sylvia. Though, Martin has done more to date than what Sylvia did in his first 3 years of footy.

Has all the talent in the world, thinks he's better than what he is, could be a champion player, but has attitude problems.

Amazing how light the media have been on him considering........

If he'd played for MFC, it would be all over SEN and the front pages of the herald sun....... With title "drug up tankers"......

Exactly....he's even living with the club prez.

Much more talented than Colin, but this year he was heavily tagged and really struggled in some games.

Someone texted in to SEN and said do you want him to be a prim proper boy like Jack Watts.

Hopefully he can come to realise he is lucky to be playing AFL and obviously richmond are worried about his off field work.

Given the issues plaguing MFC and recently GWS and Adelaide, Edwards and Martin's indiscretions are small beer in the scheme of things.

Wow. Another AFL footballer blows their licence....... FMD.

Its small beer......notwithstanding Martin may have had multiples of them before he chose to get in the car.

And if it been to court then the event happened weeks/month ago.

Well the quote is that he's behaving like the typical 80s footballer. The problem for Richmond is it's not harming anyone (apart from the pills incident) so it's harder for them to react.

Robbie Flower was an 80s footballer......

What is a typical 80s footballer. I can think of some more recent footballers who were worry me more.

Richmond dont need to react because........its a nothing issue. Licence lost. Can still play....no drugs. Dead story.

I saw Dusty along with 6 other Tigers Training by themselves over at Vic Park Wednesday.

No talking just a few sets of 200m sprints.

He looked pretty good to me.

I think it's a little more than that, they are talking about him being out of control and perhaps being traded when his contract expires (KB on SEN this morning), he is already on suspension and they said he is continuing to do the same things he was suspended for in the first place. It appears that when the season ends he loses structure in his life and loses the plot as well.

I don't think this is a simple case of losing a licence there may be other indiscretions involved.

When does his contract expire?

Anyway its a minnow against the elephant issues running at the moment.

It certainly is in comparison to Melb, Ade stories but still as we've found out where there is smoke, there's fire and I can only pray for an annoying saga hanging over Richmonds head ala Cousins in the late 00's

Much more.......no way!

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
