Given all that is happening, we wouldnt want to do that and make the AFL any more angry with us. It is there dream to get him to GWS, lets try and keep the sanctions to a minimum..... :o

I was talking about Folau!

GWS supporters must be crying folau about this.

So long Izzy.

I'll always remember your 13 games, 39 kicks, 18 tackles and 2 goals.

Good times.....

AFL Rule 87 says that the AFL can force any player to go to any club it wants, by any means whatsoever, including threats of deregistration. The AFL stands for INTEGRITY.

interesting thats there's no A, F nor L in INTREGRITY !!

I'm sure the AFL will find a way for GWS to trade draft picks with the Brisbane Broncos.

No reason that picks can't be code hoppers too.

Better sling them a priority pick too just to make sure they get a leg up.

Let's hope he goes into the Draft.

GWS take him with 1,2 or 3.

We lock in Toumpas with 4.

See the sun rises the next morning afterall

How much cap space would he clear for Tippet? (I know most of his wage was for his afl paid marketing role, so maybe him leaving won't free up much cap room anyway)

That wouldn't matter anyway. "Mr Andrew D Integrity" would just make up another rule on the run to give them an extra million or so space, or a third party payment of some sort, a benefit apparently only open to development and 'power' clubs.

It will be a pretty quiet cry I would imagine. Unless they can hire a crowd out of season.

Interesting that there is two R's...

if GWS replace folau with tippet - id say that is a massive MASSIVE win for them.

id also go as far as saying it almost smells like an afl/gws love child consipracy.

find something wrong with his contract, convieniently, make sure the swans cant do a deal, ensure gws have room and BANG, gun player goes to gws.

It's so wrong this guy get paid 3 million over 2 years for showing nothing,

and for some veterans who played for 5-10 years will never get closed to that amount over their whole career

Can't Tippett sign for 1 year if GWS wants him? Wouldn't work for him if he had a dud year or did a knee though.
