Frawley Out Bate In

I heard Nathan Grima speaking on tv and he was stressing how important it is to have a settled team from week to week. I find it amazing that one club can go week in week out without any major changes to the line up and others like us who have two or three compulsory changes every week.

It's because Neeld wants to see how a lot of our players are on game day and how they perform. Nth Melbourne have

had the same coach for 3 or 4 years he knows what is his best team and they have been working on that the last few years.

I'm sure next season we will see a lot less changes per week compared to this year.

"Hmm, with no Frawley you would think Sellar would have to go back. With no Martin/Fitz wonder who can play that forward/ruck role."

I don't know that it will matter a great deal who fills the forward role as I expect that our backs will be doing the bulk of the work tomorrow, as sad as that is.

What are we doing????

All our good players are out,

WATTS has the longest twisted ankle in history.

JAMAR a seven week calf strain.

MARTIN runs out a game then all of a sudden has an injury

And FRAWLEY get an injury last minute.

They are the suss ones not to mention long term injuries to CLARKE etc

We have 17 on the injury list that is almost 40% of our list. Something stinks and i want to know what. Us members need to hear the truth.

Chill, it's planning for next year. If someone has a concern what do we gain by putting them in under duress? Watts I agree with your frustration, is it up to 4 weeks? I would like to see him in because he will be better for the experience but I guess the coaching staff just want to may sure our key players are good to go over the Pre-season.

Surely last throw of the dice for Bate. Make him a lead up forward, Rivers to defense (where he bloody well should be IMO).

Why are injuries always some big conspiracy theory instead of just players hurting themselves?

Half the injured players on our list have done serious unavoidable injuries, not stuff like hammys that have plagued Essendon

So you reckon that all or most of our injuries are suspect and perhaps we're tanking; or is it even more sinister than that?

Come round to my place, I've got some tin foil hats and we can sit in the "special room" and talk about it.

Think Williams, Sheehan and Cook will be getting games by default soon.

Id like to see this kid get a game, he's going to be something else.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs West Coast

Many warned that this was a danger game and the Demons were totally outclassed all game by a young Eagles team at Optus Stadium in Perth as they were defeated by 35 points.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
