There ought to be an "Oi Vey" button !!

how many bags of goals did Al Jacovich kick before he was eventually selected in the ones?

Time to move on.

When are you going to answer my (and your) question?

Stop being a weasel. Your lack of character and intelligence has been shown to all.

Absolutely. Stand up to the plate Hardnut and be accountable. For one who wants to debate you sure like to hide.

Hi Face your Demons,

Yourself and many other in this forum need to step back and judge from an unbiased viewpoint. In other words come into the real world.

Like your unbiased crusade to rid Melbourne of Neeld.

The real world awaits.

It's funny how people think that removing a new coach under a year into his reign is 'real world thinking'...

Hi Face your Demons,

Tired of hearing " oh if only we played 4 quarters" "ran out of legs". Fact is Freo played ONE quarter and won easily.

!!

Melb...v.......Freo

Q1

6-4 -40 / 3-2-20

Q2

8-6-54 / 6-5-41

Q3

12-7-79 / 11-6-72

Q4

12-11-83 / 18-9-117

You know I reckon Freo might have played more than one...as they WON three of them

yep they won quite convincing in the end purely onteh basis really that they had TWO more running men to pick from and Rucking options.

But dont let minor facts interfere with your view.

Tell that to the dead......Wasn't based on the movie......The decisions he made cost thousands of American live that with more Prudence and Co operation with the British could have been avoided and the result would have been the same

i dont know how we tie this in with the Dockers game last week but I'll guess that Neeld was General Patton ?

Did you know that General Patton believed in reincarnation and as he was travelling through Germany he got a sense of Deja-vu about a Napoleonic battle ?(Fromerly Prussia). This has nothing to do with the topic either but i thought I'd throw it out there.

Jewish computer programmers are probably on to it .

Catholics may have to wait for the "sheesh" function.

rpfc, I see Mark Neeld's quote under your posts,

"I will get you fitter, tougher and give you a gameplan' - Mark Neeld.

Well, they don't look any fitter, they are not playing any tougher and the gameplan has produced 2 victories and 13 losses.

How long must I wait to see if he has fulfilled his mission statement?

At least 2 years.

H_T . far too simplistic. and logical.

The MFCSS devotees need at least 7 paragraphs of bleeding heart nonsense before they'll feel gratified enough to entertain anything that makes sense.

you should know this

What! Two years! The sky is falling!. We need results now! Rome was built in a day! I've been waiting (insert relevant number here) years for a flag and i have to wait 2 more! I know Neeld said it would take time, the players were not AFL standard in terms of fitness and that it is big task to turn around a culture but i thought he was being ironic! Exclamation mark!

Thanks for making me laugh. Enjoyed that.

Didn't hear the commentary so I can't really speak for him - but I think I've heard Malthouse before say that he would prefer 6 on the interchange (or around that number) which would vastly limit the impact of such injuries.

Not saying whether I agree or disagree, but I believe this may be what he meant.

Ah maybe.

FWIW. I think 4-2 would be a good bench, which maybe is what Malthouse wants. I don't like 3-1, and I sure as hell do not want to see 2-2.

Team is totally unfit, can not run out a game, those that are not unfit are injured.

The high performance team is anything but that.

Misson and Craig were meant to resolve fitness and injury issues, money not well spent thus far.

It doesn't take just one pre-season to get to this level. It takes many to get to a high fitness level.

Get with the real world

Also interesting that Patton had a great interest in history in general, including the Carthaginians for example. In short, he knew how to put events into perspective and learn from them in order to become a better leader. Something we should all consider.

That's right Hardnut- didn't he also get Ill during battle (stomach pains or something).Maybe Rommell.

Most generals are students of history-Napoleon knew every fortification in France from memory.

My favourite general is indifference .

Hello is this a MFC fan website?

Amazing how a few posters pop up together rapidly supporting each other at certain times - defending the indefensible perhaps - and attacking opposing posters in a manner which stretches the rules of conduct. Also interesting to see how some posters do not read other posts carefully and then put their own interpretation on what was said or asked. You can run, cover, but you can't hide - eventually the truth always emerges in these situations. I'm sure most of us want MFC success, not personal ego trips. I, for one, would never judge a new coach on the number of wins in his first season - there are many criteria to consider for the serious observers.

I didn't find that particular General in my history list Biff, but Rommell was an excellent Field Marshall who committed 'compulsory' suicide I believe, in order to save his family from Hitler's wrath.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
